I absolutely loved your video. I'm a 64 year-old gay man who's been out for 45 years, and I feel like Heartstopper changed my life too. Not in the way it's affected young people coming to terms with their sexuality, but in the most positive, life affirming way. In a very jaded world, it gave me hope. I can't wait for season 2.

I agree completely! I'm a 55-year-old gay man and have been out for 30 years. Raised religious and been thru a lot. Heartstopper was cathartic because it allowed me to grieve for the youth that I could never have. But ultimately it is inspiring and beautiful and makes me so very happy. It's pure love and I'll never be the same! ❤️ By the way, it was See-Saw Films (The King's Speech, Power of the Dog) that said, "we should make this!" They acquired the film rights to Heartstopper in 2019, and Netflix acquired the distribution rights in 2021. However, Netflix does deserve credit in that they greenlighted TWO more seasons after it was only released for 4 weeks! They realized how important it was to so, so many.

As an out gay man, I usually watch these types of shows/movies. I’m pretty long in the tooth, so I absolutely never saw anything positive like this when I was younger, but I turned out okay (I think 🤷🏻♂️🤣) though I certainly would have loved having anything like this. I will definitely watch it, based mostly upon your brilliant breakdown. Keep being amazing and keep the fantastic videos coming 👍🏼 I have always found you adorable 🤗 Have a blissful day ☀️
Just finished binging the season and it’s just delightful, but it brought a lot of my old memories & feelings to the surface. Which, ultimately, is a mostly good thing. Thank you for your consistently excellent recommendations 👍🏼
Thank you for your insight on the series, there are not many that will actually portray with some accuracy the teenage experience, it was also great that they used actors that look the part and not someone in their late twenties or early thirties pretending to be 16/17 years, that has ruined many movies and series for me, biggest offenders done in US. cheers from Canada and keep the reviews coming.
