I went to a new stylist from a friend’s recommendation. Later to find out my friend never actually saw her work she just heard reviews. Long story short all of the thickness and length I gained during pregnancy was destroyed in a matter of minutes. If you don’t know how to do natural hair PLEASE DONT TAKE ON CLIENTS. People are really destroying years worth of healthy hair. My new stylist is getting me right though. Thank god for stylist like y’all.

Let me just say people, God’s touch is real. So when you see a woman like this doing her clients hair beautifully.. it works because of His Favor, and when it doesn’t work it’s because His touch is not there. This woman is blessed Through Christ. So her craft will not fail even if we the people think so. Remember this for yourselves when your craft is gifted and you begin helping others. Either you’re touched or you’re not.

“Ended up with?” What precautions did the Stylist NOT take that landed her with heat damage ? Twice isn’t a lot so I’m just curious as to how it happened. Also; it’s great to “trust” your Stylist. That doesn’t mean though, that a client should rely solely on their “expertise”….Especially when they are new to your hair. Making your hair goals known is imperative. Temperature, proper heat protectant, and use of the heat(passes required vs. passes used) all fall under a Stylists’ treatment hair & techniques. It’s wise to ASK those questions when sitting in a new Stylist chair. So that BOTH Stylist and client are on the same page regarding ensuring the integrity of your hair! Accountability helps in not repeating past mistakes.🤷🏾‍♀️ Looks beautiful Eden!👍🏾

Yea I had to stop going to them. Our hair is different and can't handle all of that heat. Been growing out my damaged ends for 2 years now 😖

Maybe it's that hair stylers fault maybe she used too much heat but not all dominicans do that

Repair heat damage was a bit of a stretch for the title of this video. Treatment’s, trims and most of all time is required to restore heat damaged hair. Your stylist is very talented and your hair looks beautiful. It’s a great interim style. Heathy hair requires much more.

I remember my heat damage I used design heat protectant every time now. Had to use the protein treatment from Sally’s but eventually cut it off. It grew back lol
