Hi, Thanks for sharing. But for goodness sake. Penetrating oil - Heat [MAPP] - penetrating oil [leave overnight] - heat [lots of heat] repeat repeat. [the nuts should glow when heating] Your first use of the wrench is to tighten. When you hear a click then you go back to the heat and then try and lossen. Qtr turn and then tighten again, penetrating oil qtr turn etc etc. I find the experience of removing heat exchangers very satisfying if you get them all without a phk up.
Is it good practice to crack rusted fasteners with a torque wrench? For something that doesn't require any sort of precision, I feel like a breaker bar or a ratchet would be a better tool.
1/2 drive swivel with a 1/2 torque wrench and and crow bar?? are you effing kidding? saved worse heat exchangers than those, damn shame to see you hack them up, you must have too much money.
I have no idea what those are. Heat exchangers? They look like exhaust pipes to me that you cut off but they sound like they are made of tin or aluminium.
