Heat molding MyFit SPC liners - Speaking Specs - 908301
The MYFIT SPC liner is a masterpiece. It is developed for skaters that look for the very best performance and comfort. The wide 45° flex cut of the liner offers a lot of freedom for movement so perfect for urban, aggressive and freeskating. Thanks to a 4-way stretchable toe box, the liner fits 2 sizes at once, adjusting better to the contours of your foot and allowing you to downsize if necessary. The top lacing of the SPC liner adds extra stability and heel lock for maximum control and performance. The lace loops on the liner give two options - to lace just the liner or to connect shell and liner to improve the heel lock. The MYFIT SPC material is a “super-foam”, casted polyurethane that will never break down and keeps all its features for years. SPC super-foam absorbs shocks, gives extra cushioning, controls impact and is really comfortable while providing maximum and direct power transfer. The SPC liner is fully heat moldable - it will mold on the exterior to suit your skate as well as internally to perfectly wrap around all the contours of your feet utilizing the CFF (Custom Fit Foam) to its fullest. Like other liners, the MYFIT SPC liner carries all the usual specs like anatomical ankle padding, and a well-defined Achilles padding to give the perfect heel lock and eliminate any movement. The liner includes the MYFIT skate sole for extra support and control.

My goodness. The people at bladeville jammed my 48-49 spc liners into a box and the foam didn’t appreciate that. They are nothing like my other myfit liners with that second skin tongue... the rigidity and material is so stiff and thick. I am really crossing my fingers that heatmolding does the trick

Hello! I bought Next, after half an hour of riding I began to feel pressure on the left foot from the inside just below the ankle .. I pulled out the liner, felt it, and found a small seal inside, as if a very small oblong object was sewn there ... This is not on the seam, but next to him. It is this seal that presses me, cuts. Tell me what it could be and how to proceed? Maybe you need to make an incision and try to pull this item out? Thanks.

Will these mold to the shape of your foot naturally over time, if you opt to not put these in the oven? Just got the new power slide next 80 in black and red and they are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I heat mold my ice hockey skates but I don’t think I’m going to mess with my liners.

not really. too big skates will never fit perfect, but you can improve the fit by using bigger volume liners like for example the myfit crown liner + thicker socks and more volume footbeds/inlays.

@@PowerslideInlineskates im curious myfit said to use a hair dryer? Is that procedure not correct?
@GenePavlovsky
@GenePavlovsky 6 месяцев назад
@@DFPS1RRINDUSTRYS Any method that can warm them up to the correct temperature would work. A good oven that can maintain temperature would give you good even results. With a hair dryer you may leave certain areas too cold, and also possibly overheat other areas. But generally I think a hair dryer would also work. Intuition recommends microwaving a bag of rice, pouring the rice into a sock, then putting the sock in the liner for some minutes.

Do another video with a FSK with 45 strap. Not many, if any, ovens get to 90c. Lowest setting 140. "S" which is slow cook (the lowest it will go) is still 100
@GenePavlovsky
@GenePavlovsky 6 месяцев назад
Many ovens also have a large temperature swing, the actual temperature can actually overshoot the set temperature by some tens of degrees. It's best to get a digital oven thermometer and monitor the temp carefully. You can also act like a thermostat yourself, turning the oven on and off again to achieve the desired temperature.
