Installing Triumph factory heated grips and windscreen on my 2019 Street Scrambler, All parts purchased from Sturgess Cycle and all links to products and dealership down below.
Again if your not comfortable completing this job take your bike into your nearest Triumph dealer.

When I receive my Street Scrambler this spring, I've already had them install windscreen and heated grips. I could definitely see them come in handy. ^^

Very good work except for one thing. The spark plug ratchet you used was a very bad choice. To much handle out there swinging around. All it takes is your dog, kid, wife, neighbor to startle you at the wrong moment and that handle slaps your tank or some other piece that did not require a wrench slap. Always use the smallest wrench you can use to get the job done, not the largest.

Nice vid. But 4:28 why unplug this cable (in the frontlamp)? Finally you connected the heater cable with the cable on the body 8:22. Thanks for your help. Best regards from Switzerland

Hi Ai Siju - Its unplugged incase you want to match up the throttle unit to your grip so its easier to line up, your essentially pulling that harness out. Sometimes its easier to line it up before it goes on the bar and other times you'll be fine to connect it already on the bars. I wanted to disconnect it just in case I had troubles but apologies as I don't think I explained why I did in the video

Hi Scotty, great and informative video, thanks. Am considering a screen myself on my SS, saw a comment on you now get wind blast on your head and shoulders, can I ask whether you prefer riding with the screen or without please, also I have seen elsewhere someone saying that the noise level was worse around the helmet with the screen, have you found this so. Hey Paul, Thanks for the kind words and tuning in. I found with this particular bike the wind blast was worse for me without the windscreen vs with it now. I was getting a ton of buffeting when riding at high speeds and with the 10in screen its 75% better. My Triumph speed triple only has a small cowl in front of the speedo but I feel cause the bike is shaped for speed even with no high screen it deflects the air evenly. Hope this helps Cheers

@@scottyrfd8468 Many thanks for the info would love to see a couple more pics of the screen on the bike as the video ends quite quickly after the fitting. This is the larger of the screens and not the small fly screen right? Regards.

Yes Paul this is the larger of the 2 screens you can get from Triumph, Ill be sure to post some pictures this week and feature more of it and the other mods in my next video. Cheers
