@@vcyclenut I used the Red and Blue wires on the grips. There was a yellow wire with a black stripe that ended up not being used. I went red to red and white to blue on my turn signal adapters.
Anyone have links to the grips? I can't seem to find the right ones. Not seeing replacement sports grips.. I found Evo Sport on Amazon, but they are much more expensive.
Updare rhe 2 wire adaptor had one wire in wrong position so FAIL UNTIL I realized that and modified the adaptor connector by fiking a third complete groove so it can be rotated 120 degrees but then it wont "click so tape it BTW I only need the left grip and it does work with only one (had surgery on left hand imiddle finger t cant take cold at all now
It works. So you most likely have something wired wrong. The connectors on the bike are a 3 pin connect er but only 2 are used. Make sure your on the correct 2 pins wired to the grips. I dont know what fuse it is.
I'm assuming this works for MT09 as well? Saw your links below I'm guessing I buy the throttle grip for 17.97 and then on the other link I buy the left side for for 29.14?
@@vcyclenut Another question... There is a drop down menu to select the specific ones... There is a sport with a white and the other side has a black connector, and then there is an EVO sport option... Which do you recommend?
The heated grips on Amazon are saying that they will ship in 6-7 months. I found some on REVZILLA but I can only get them in the black 2 pin or the black 3 pin. Does it matter that it’s the white pin? If I’m cutting it off and splicing a Yamaha turn signal connector on, I would imagine it should work just fine. Would you agree?
How do you control them on dash is it with the wheel? I spent 300 euro on ultimate addons grips and I hate how fat they are they have to go I've got a new set of Oxford in the shed to fit
Im doing this to my MT10 now. I was able to get the plugs and the throttle side grip with white connector on Amazon. I had to order the clutch side from someone else, that im waiting to have delivered. It jas the black water proof connector and not white. Does anyone know if this will still work? Im still having to cut the black connector off and wiring the yamaha connector to it. Thanks great video man and thanks for saving me some cash.
Did it work? I bought everything connected it all and nothing shows on tft desperately trying to find out WHICH fuse it would be on? A spare they left out?
