Ugh that you're having AC issues, and especially at the terrible timing! Not as hot as where you are, but been really up here in NW Missouri, too. Upper 90s for the next week or so, with heat indexes some days predicted to be around 115! That's really hot for here! My husband and I took a mini-vacation since Thurs. We're staying in a nice hotel in Kansas City, which is 30 miles or so from our house, to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary! Since our kids live far away, and we're not really party people, this sounded more fun to us than a reception or whatever. Been fun, but would have been more fun if not so hot. We decided to walk about 3 blocks to supper tonight, and coming home it was pretty miserable. I could barely breathe witb the crazy higb humidity. But we did a bunch of fun stuff since we came up here Thursday afternoon, and we'll go back home tomorrow afternoon, so definitely been a fun weekend for me. I'm so very sorry you can't go to Colorado next month, but glad you have some other fun things planned. So glad you have your mom's house to stay in until you get your AC fixed!
Sorry you are having an AC problem! We had that problem last summer, and you are right, it’s not cheap to fix. I sure hate it’s messed up your plans to go to Colorado for a few weeks. Time with the grands is always such a pleasure! It’s nice you have a long time friend to do things with. Any videos you post of your activities will be great, always nice to see the areas around the country and the activities people do there. Glad you have your moms house to go to with the hot house. Much easier to sleep in a cooler home. Will be interesting to see if the church men will notice the red blouses. Lol
What a terrible time for your A/C to develop problems! I'm sorry it is going to eat up your Colorado money. A/C isn't a luxury but a necessity where you live... here too. I'm glad you can go to your mom's.
