In this video, we will be looking at Heavy-duty Polypropylene brackets. Designed to provide support and stability for a range of pipe and tube systems, these structural components are engineered to withstand substantial loads and environmental challenges. They are used in a range of high-pressure and chemical applications, such as water and wastewater treatment plants, commercial swimming pools, and industrial processing plants.
Available in both metric and imperial, these brackets accommodate a range of sizes and specifications of pipes and tubes. They are a robust design and extremely durable, ensuring the integrity and longevity of quality piping systems.
Let’s go over the specifications:
- Available in sizes from 60mm through to 315mm, these brackets are designed to complement a vast range of piping systems.
- They are made from polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer known for its excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and durability. This is very beneficial in corrosive environments or where moisture causes metal brackets to deteriorate.
- These brackets are hinged and come complete with 316 grade stainless steel pivot bolts.
- They are designed to be used in conjunction with plastic piping systems such as U-PVC, C-PVC, and HDPE, however they’re frequently used for other pipe types including metal piping systems.
- This product whilst being heavy-duty is designed to be installed with ease, due to features such as the hinged top clamp design. Now, this allows for efficient assembly which can reduce labor costs and minimize downtime during project installation.
- When installing the tube brackets, they need to be mounted on a surface that is flat and stable. When placing the pipe inside the bracket, it is as easy as opening the hinged top clamp, placing the pipe inside, and then clicking it back together. For the larger sizes, you unbolt one side of the clamp, insert the pipe, and then bolt the clamp back together.
