The elevators will connect directly to stuff to save that little bit of space and belts, or would they not do that in this update?

I usually try to do that in most builds. depending on the situation. What part of the video do you mean so I can look at it and clarify why I did something a specific way.

How does your splitter work with evenly distributing materials to equipment? Doesn’t a splitter take an input feed and divide it by however many outputs are added? (I.e. 120>60>30>15).

Yes you are correct but.. once the first constructor or whatever machine is full then all of those parts move on past.. and so forth and so forth until eventually they are evenly split. If the splitter cant push a component through it just skips it and moves it along the line. Hope that makes sense. I believe its considered to be the “manifold” method. Its slower that “load balanced” but still works

Past several evenings, I have just researched hard drives for steel frames. Research... nope, not it, load previous save. It's the most frustrating part of the game.

I find it best to get about 3 or 4 hard drives if possible.. Go through the first few and choose the best options.. on your last one is when you would reload save. It cuts down on getting some of the other recipes repeatedly and your chances are better.

I have honestly just been using a save editor to unlock alternate recipes after trying about 20 hard drives to get the ones i want with no luck.
