Agreed !! I’m also team black all day, but I do love Helena. She’s the sweetest and most interesting of team green imo. And in this scene she’s showing off her wisdom in multiple ways, along with being good to her mother ❤ Edit: the way she tells her mom “I forgive you”, the way that it’s said especially vague, with how much she knows/has seen is just brilliant !! I’ve seen people say that she’s obviously talking about her mom and Cristin Cole, but it’s meant to imply that & more

I wish Rhaenyra had taken her with her to Dragonstone all those years ago. Rhae loved her little sister, even in the books. Helaena didn't deserve this. The Greens did not deserve her.

Because Helaena's most important moment was sidetracked by a sex scene, her sons funeral was hijacked by multiple different scenes and added in a humiliating scene where the casket is stuck in the road while Rhaneyra gets three scenes of mourning her son

@@Drpavel564 Helena herself didn't do much in the show or the books. If they wanted people to not like her they woulda had to completely change her character. Nobody hates Helena. Her scenes are closest to the book bcuz she doesn't do or say much. Just bcuz they don't focus on her like rhaenyra (who is the MAIN CHARACTER over her) doesnt mean they want people to hate her. The directors have said they are team Green anyway. But you can not change the story completely when the source material is right there printed and the writer is also there helping. Why don't ask Martin why he didn't make Helena more important? Bcuz she had dragon dreams so she could've been more important.

Alicent did not even want the best for her own daughter who could have married Jace and Luke marry Rhaena all the families would be have something they wanted, the greens heirs to the throne and the queen's best friend her right hand and mother on law to her sons wife. Targs would get peace of the realm to continue growing in. Velaryons their ancestral blood returned to the throne without question with Lukes grandchildren. Alicents third child would likely be the grand maester of Jace and Helaenas child's court And there uncle Aegon with Vhagar would likely have large influence.

@@kap2652 how would she actually have legitimate heirs if her husband Laenor was gay or was she supposed to be completely childless, which is even worse....Everybody knew about it... His parents included....Throne was hers, cuz claim was steadfastly hers, Viserys didn't change his mind and didn't rename Aegon to be his heir..He knew his nature ..let's not forget that Aegon was drunk and rapist...never interested in ruling. Hardly a good choice to be king.
