I review the Held Carese Evo adventure touring motorcycle jacket. It has become my primary jacket for both street and off-road riding. The video explains why I made this choice.

I have the mens version. Been through Colombian Thunderstorms, Southern India Humidity , Thailand Monsoon and snow and desert here in Australia. Love it. Cant find anything as versatile for any money. Maybe a better vented and a better winter but for one jacket that is pretty good at both then this is THE jacket.

And thanks to you, after watching your two awesome reviews, my search for the perfect (for me) jacket has just ended too. I had all the same criteria as you (I watched your previous review of the four jackets), and it was bugging me that I couldn't find a jacket that met those criteria plus had a waterproof shell. It makes no sense to me to let the shell get soaking wet...we all know that a wet jacket is a bundle of fun to put on in the morning. The Carese seems like the perfect solution. So thank you Lana. I'm off to see if I can find a deal!

Perfect explanations Lana! I know that good protective clothing is a very important but it so hot in summer 😅 and we haven’t any solution

Thanks for a thorough review including some dislikes. Perhaps future versions will have a drop down back vent. I live in Canada; which European internet reseller is recommended to purchase Held Carese jacket and pants from?

The points total for the Sand 4 is very close to the Held Carese Evo. What are the biggest differences you see between these two and what makes the Held worth the price difference between these two? And what pants go with this jacket?

Sand 4 had two issues. First, its ventilation that was significantly reduced compared to the men's version. Second, its comfort could be better. The shell material is too rigid and the adjustment straps require a noticeable effort to make any adjustments. The Held does not have any of these limitations.
