Hearing that someone besides myself, spent their time hunting down a cheater, makes me have hope that the community has the power to at least curb stomp this in game:) Cheaters have no place in this game. Thanks for the comment:)

Thanks dude. I have seen many sus moments in this game. But nothing as pathetic as this player. Yesterday, I just got one of the TL the Line guys (Rank 212+) to admit they are using Nvidia filters to remove the fog in competitive tournaments. It's just pathetic nowadays. People just can't play the game as intended, they need any advantage to win, because they are dog shit without it.

Thank you so much for this. I have a couple questions though. How does it ping the admins in discord? And what is "The Bunker"? I did just figure out how to receive the "!Admin" message in the Rcon control. But I would love to see the ban list and add it to mine.

I have only played on public servers once or twice over a year ago. This was a clan server, that has an active admin, but they must have been on a very long bathroom break. In the settings you can turn off the kick player notification. I assume many people turn it off. I have only seen 5 people get kicked from a server using the kick feature in 1200 hours of gameplay. I have seen many people get kicked by admins though. If the cheat sites can advertise 100% undetected, and catching cheaters is a cat and mouse game, then I wonder who's the cat and who's the mouse. I wonder why the kick cheater info, doesn't go right to Easy Anti-Cheat, or Black Matter.

I have a feeling this started 10 years ago when these soft kids needed safe spaces. Losing is scary and harmful to the ego. As one of the HLL cheats sites said "Imagine not cheating in a video game in 2021". The cheats cost more than the game haha, who's the sucker. I think these anti-cheat developers need to get back to the drawing board, and instead of dealing with this using code, they need to actually outsmart the cheat developer with common sense tactics. Steam could also do their part in monitoring accounts with recent bans. Maybe a 90 day period or so. The HLL community could do more though too. If people could recognize a cheater on their own team, they could make the game a terrible experience for the cheater. It's pretty obvious when a level 1 player scored more points than everyone on the team.

Thanks for being a sub:) This video has had quite a bit of traction lately. So atleast people are looking into this. It is a major issue with all games, and there is no light beyond the horizon. The aspect that sucks though, is HLL cannot afford to let these players run rampant or it will kill the small player base. For new players, ESP is only going to be beneficial, when in close quarters, like 50 meters. I am constantly trying to fill those gaps, so those crafty players and cheaters will have to face me and my squad. When facing a cheater, keep the fight at a distance if possible, and snag them as they blindly run across a field, as they trust their ESP. Then BAM! Hit em with a headshot. Unfortunately, a cheater also had to pay for the game. Warzone for instance, had sky high numbers of new players joining, which pushed up stocks, but in reality, there was thousands of players getting new accounts after getting banned. So the company will feel the strain at some point. I'm convinced that game devs do not know how to combat this issue, but I do know they could implement an in-game report button, and have a small team of people review content. Point is, they could do more, but choose not to, because sales hasn't hurt their pocket book. In today's world, you vote with your dollar, and if this game gets out of hand, then people won't play it, and HLL will reside in the "what could have been" category of gaming. Especially for a game studio with 1 game on record. BM's second game will not get any praise if they cannot get a handle on the issues in HLL. This goes beyond the cheaters. For as much cheating videos as I've watched, for many different games, there is just as many players taking them out. Aimbot is not perfect, thankfully. For the players who download cheats just so they don't get slaughtered, it's a deep psychological mishap, that lets them slip away from actually learning a skill. Imagine working so hard to hide your cheats, when all that time could have been spent learning. Truth is, these players do not want to play the game as it is intended, they just want to left mouse click, and see numbers at the end. What a pitiful existence. I really hate cheaters. Everything I have learned in life has been the hard way, and imo there is no other way. We are witnessing the result of No Child Left Behind, and Everyone Gets a Trophy. These people get harmed by words, and when they are in the comfort of their own homes, they feel invincible. So as a dedicated HLL player, I intend to record and report every cheater I find. If the community learned to spot these individuals, this problem would cease to exist. I know it's hard, and mainly based on probability, but there are things to take into consideration. Are they on Arty? Are they in a tank? Are they a low level player using a PPSH and getting 70 kills on Kursk all from 200m away? There's alot to take in, but spotting the nuances is key. You could always switch teams, and TK them, a bunch of times, ruining their experience instead. With the new update, and not being able to see the roles on the enemy team, you must switch teams, find that player, catch them in the act, and report them. $40 for a game, and then $20 a month for cheats? I could have way more fun with $20 at a strip club, then cheating in a video game.

Good insights. Keep up the good work in your crusade against cheaters. Drag all that garbage out into the sunlight. I can only hope that these devs won't exploit their sales like that. Like many developers, they've passed the ball to a specialist third party, Easy Anti Cheat. I can understand that, because it would be a big drain on time and resources for developers. They want to concentrate on content. But EAC hasn't been very effective, and they are slipping. I've recently seen videos with invincibility, teleportation and invisibility in HLL. What a farce. Sad that there are so many dysfunctional people who want to cheat (evolve, humanity!). The game is so thrilling with its unknowns. Enemy could be lurking anywhere. You might be confronted at any moment and have to react quickly. That tension is what makes it so thrilling. And it takes brains as well as reactions. Great atmosphere, great teamwork, great community of players. What a combo. I hope there is urgent action. If not, even big fans of the game like myself will shrug and walk away. Who wants to play a competitive game that is rigged? Better uses of my time.

There is roughly 5-10 previously banned, cheaters in every match. Some have bans from 10 years ago, and some have bans from 0 days ago. There are random players who just shoot at stupid stuff and it looks suspicious, but we all can tell when something is very suspicious. In this game, you will get killed from all angles, and when you think your hidden, you may be visible. The grass only tenders in to about 60m, past that it's a blank open field. It's very hard to nail a cheater in this game dead to rights, unless you've spotted them. But even then, the competitive scene has players using Nvidia filters to remove fog, and even lighten up the upcoming night maps. Easy anti-cheat is free to use if your game has less than 10k players, and HLL, hasn't seen that level of players since update 10. While the game is spectacular, when played with friends or people with mics, it does have it's downfalls. Best to play on known good servers with active admins.

@@TwinCityShredder Well what got my attention was that we had set up to defend an attack from a certain direction. Everyone had picked their spots for maximum cover but overlapping cones of fire. I was on top of a building overlooking our spawn and out across back gardens and a street (I think the point was called Ruins). As soon as reports started coming in saying we were being attacked from the south, this guy appears from nowhere and starts dumping shots to the south standing fully upright. The same wall he was firing through he casually stepped around and continued to fire in roughly the same direction. On the same map we were capturing the rail yard and I ducked into a gap between the platform edge and the wheels of the rail car. I was lying prone and followed the fire back to where the bullets were coming from. They were literally coming from through buildings and walls and I couldn't hear the gun itself. The spread of fire was literally horizontal and the only thing that saved me was being lower than the gun itself. Im not sure if the game prevents bullets crossing an absolute boundary like ground or close to ground but we never found that machine gunner and we had people in every building. When you say the grass only renders to 60m do you mean an enemy can see you trying to crawl through it if you're more than that distance away from them?

@@BigGoucho that is really interesting. I assume he was a German, on Stalingrad? The point you made about not heading the gun fire, is really odd. I understand how cheats can be setup and hidden, from watching COD videos, but I do not know what type of options cheats for HLL can be adjusted. The game does not allow bullets to penetrate the ground or buildings, but sometimes when laying prone, your character can actually be up in the air, like planking. This happens alot with the MG. So mounting MG in a window, from your POV, the gun may be below the actual window, and look like it's shooting through the wall. But we do know that cheats are able to shoot through anything. Next time, switch teams, and stalk that player. Record them, and post it to the HLL Discord. And yes, laying in the grass beyond 60m, you could be laying in an open flat field. This doesn't happen on all maps though. Next time your on SMDM, look out into the fields. Kursk is also a good map to see enemies laying in flat field. Although you have to look past the 250m mark. The grass is still an issue, and hopefully we will get a remedy in the future.

some of those deaths can just be dumb luck though. I know I've gotten some hundred+ meter headshots by shooting aimlessly into smoke or just enemy direction. but yeah when it starts happening on the same point from the same direction without visibility then you can start knowing something fishy is going on

Thanks for the info. I usually play on known servers with admins. Have you seen many people get kicked through the voting system? I've seen less than 10 people get kicked in 1500 hours of gameplay. If the devs could add 5 more reasons to the vote kick system, I think it would help. I've also been informed that server admins could use more tools to spot cheaters, like a first person view. If they could lock the regions, I think that would help the most. Suspected cheaters somehow have the highest score in a match with a 260 ping.

@@TwinCityShredder I've seen vote kicks when it is coordinated. It needs to be elevated to squad then command before a vote kick is called. I also almost exclusively play on known community servers when I have seen the admin go use the admin cam to investigate and take necessary action.

I'm not sure why YT put this in my "review comments" tab, but yes this has gotten worse, and it will keep getting worse with every discount week, and update. There is no remedy to this, yet, and all you can do is keep your battles at a distance. Kid can't handle losing or being bad at something for little bit. It's deeper than just cheating unfortunately. It's on the rise. When cheaters figure out that nobody gets banned, they flock to that game. It's sad.

This is totally true. It does add a bit of that Rambo style game play to it all. This cheater was the most pathetic one I've ever seen in this game. Although last night while gaming, my squad was getting killed, like an enemy was 3 feet behind us, but no visible enemy anywhere near us. Almost like we were teleporting to the tip of their gun. It was weird.

@@TwinCityShredder Me and my buddies have been long-time HLL players. We always play as one whole inf squad. It was a lot of fun then. After not playing it for about a year, we tried to get back to it a couple of weeks ago, excited to try out the new Eastern Front update. Boy, were we shocked by the obvious massive cheating going around! We were getting spawn-killed 80 percent of the time, enemy seemed to have unlimited arty, and guys teleporting just to name a few. It felt like a totally different game. Uninstalled the game that same day.

Thanks alot! I wish I could catch another one like that. Unfortunately I'm always on the receiving end of it. I could switch teams more, but it's more fun going on a rampage, and taking them down. Unfortunately talking about the issue, doesn't solve the problem. HLL devs need to care too.

@@PaulShutts. I did see his video on the invisible player. These types of players are the biggest cowards. It amazes me that any devs use an engine that's easily hackable. It would be nice if the devs would step their anti-cheat game. I mean seriously it's 2022 and the game lacks a basic working anti-cheat. Console is even having issues with chronus, and speed hackers, and no option to kick players. Maybe someday these issues will get resolved, but I'm not holding my breathe. I think these devs are out to lunch, and don't really care. Money is the driving force, not player appreciation. I tried getting on to the pte today, and I can't find the download for it anywhere on steam, then I go to the hell let loose discord, and the issues people are having in the pte, looks to be in like another half-assed attempt at fixing the game. If they can't fix the game, they'll never be able to catch cheaters. I've played with friends recently, who were kicked out of the game because of the anti-cheat, even when in my personal server. When it comes to gaming, it seems that cheaters always win.

It has been fairly noticeable lately. It really sucks. The TTK is too short to defend against them. The sad part about this specific cheater and East Anti-Cheat, is that it's supposed to detect a players speed in the game, and yet cheat manufacturers can claim 100% undetected. The invading your privacy part is pretty lame. Plus VAC bans doesn't seem to stop people when you can download a hardware spoofer. Imagine paying $30 for a game and then $100 a month to cheat. It boggles the mind. How can people catch a cheater with code, if the cheater is also using code. The old fighting fire with fire, doesn't seems to work all that well. The sprite idea would be easy for a coder to implement, and a sure fire way to catch cheaters. I hope we see something effective in the future. Window 11 has some tricks that may catch cheaters in the future.

@@TwinCityShredder totally agree. But i love the 1 shot kill in the game, its so unique and rewarding for a genuine player who hones their skills. I actually tried to raise this issue yesterday in the twitch q&a they had with Max, but the question was deleted by the moderator :/

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate the honesty. Glad you got things straightened out. I have wondered about the afterlife of cheating. Especially if you get banned, and if you can no longer enjoy the game. Cheating in a video game is pretty sad. If you only would have spent that time cheating on your taxes, just think of the opportunities, haha. I have wondered how cheating in HLL can be any fun. I mean sure, wipe out a whole team in under a minute. But that would get old quick. Glad your clean and enjoying HLL.

I think all that could be true. But there is too much profit in cheats, for some scumbag to leak all the info need to make cheats. Also, some disgruntled employee could just leak everything, or go on to retaliate and make the cheats themselves. Gaming is sad in that regard. As if these cheaters couldn't focus their time on improving their own lives, as we all know how soft they are, with mommy issues, and being breast fed till they were 8 years old.

This is why I would be ok with a kill cam. Although that would take away from the game. I just cannot imagine paying money to win.

It's definitely not as bad as other games, but the problem is HLL is getting worse. But a low TTK and a couple aggressive teammates can mitigate cheaters pretty easily.

@@TwinCityShredder I like ambushing them for kicks but recently it seems they can be shot multiple times and still mange to kill me I just watched 8 of the blueberries go gray and they took the point It’s usually one or two recon, squads, and at the very end of the game they switch to tank so their scores don’t seem so grossly disproportionate It’s a shame because Mortaine map has all these wonderful hiding spots, that are rendered useless because of the hangman hackers

@@MrBothandNether hit reg and desync are a major issue still. I've referenced this in many of my videos. Seems to happen most in the under 10m range. Especially with the Kar98. I watched members of the discord, get slaughtered and blood everywhere, and they report not even being hit. It's an issue that frustrates me to no end and should be happening in modern fps gaming. Tbf it wasn't always good in HLL to begin with, but made far worse in u13.5 and it's slowly crept back to U11 levels. Which is playable, but not great. Just because you hit someone and saw blood doesn't mean it registered on their end. Which doesn't mean they are cheating. I've seen players get hit from 4 players at once and not die. This is desync. It happens all the time unfortunately.

They used to show what role each enemy player was playing. So you could tell if someone was in a tank and getting 800 combat points. But I think there could be a lot done to improve the game in regards to spotting suspicious players. Especially since Easy Anti-Cheat is complete trash. And too much of that burden falls on the server admins.

I agree. Combat effectiveness can go up easily if you're on Arty, in a tank, or engineer. But that 1 sus dude, that's a level 5 and has wiped your entire squad will all headshots is playing dirty. Then you go to steam and see the person has 3 alt accounts as friends on a level 0 steam account and haven't setup the profile yet, is another level of loser. Lately I have seen some blatant cheating going on.

You are 100% correct. I assume it's not because they don't care, they just can't afford to care. I have learned my lesson buying an early access game. I will be very cautious about buying another beta indie games, and Black Matter games. Hell for all we know, we could be living in the last few years of FPS games in general. Tbh, I think I'm ok with that. Cheaters have taken the competition out of FPS gaming. If there's no competitions, there will be no drive to play the game.

You're not kidding. It's becoming noticeably worse. We all know how brutal this game is, and nobody is this great at this game without a couple hundred hours into it.

Some people argue that there are no cheaters in this game. It is very apparent, when a cheater gets on the battlefield. I frequently look at the global statistics, and to see how little the percentage has gone up on players who have placed and OP/Garrison, as it's a good way to judge the amount of work some players are not willing to do. Your statement at the end, sums up exactly what Max(dev) said once. He gloated about having sold over 1 million copies of HLL. Yet to this day, there is about 6,000 players who return to play. Still hoping for some major fixes in the future🤞

The whole aiming into the ground and getting kills, is enough to enrage anyone. These cheaters think this game is full of kids who are already cheating, so they cheat to keep up. When in reality, there is some excellent players in this game. Imagine paying monthly to have any skills. How does one's mind just think that's ok? How can you be so ignorant to think others won't notice? It's just pathetic.

This type of cheater is so beyond unacceptable. I'm glad your team realized it and kicked him. It's so easy to recognize cheaters in this game, and it's even easier to know when you've been out gunned by a skilled player. This community used to kick anyone suspicious, and maybe the new players came from COD and are used to cheaters, so dealing with just a couple cheaters isn't a big deal to them. Give me a fucking break... no one ever kicks in hell let loose bro like ever. One guy bragged about cheating outright in chat and got insane scores but still didnt get kicked... post a video of someone getting kick till then I dont believe this

The cheating is bad. Anyone who thinks different, is lacking the knowledge to notice it. That extension for your browser, shows who is likely to cheat. Sadly enough, there is roughly 5-10 previous cheaters in every match. When you get a match, where there are no previous cheaters, you can tell the flow of the game is more natural. When you have multiple level 200+ on the enemy team, with offensive scores around the 400 mark, then you have multiple level 12 players with 800+ offensive, they are either on artillery, in a tank, or cheating. Pretty easy to figure out. Those who say there isn't a cheating problem, are most likely cheating or just plain old stupid. Also if their profile isn't private, you can see their achievements, and see the date someone got their first kill, then look at the date they got 100 headshots, then look at the date they got the 25 kill streak achievement. If they are a previous cheater, and currently cheating, these will all happen within a day or 2 of eachother. Also, you can see how many days ago they got banned, and you can get a decent idea of what game they got banned from, based on their game history. All FPS games are plagued with cheaters. This will ruin the genre, and there will be no profit for devs in this type of game. Only then will devs wish they had done something sooner. If you are level 70+ then check out my latest video, and join the discord and get on my personal server. No cheaters, and only knowledgeable players. It's they only way to combat this.

I have played on servers with 200 ping. The timing is way off. I have to lead targets way too far ahead, and I've ducked behind a wall and it seemed like I was hit through a wall. But in reality, to the enemy I was still visible. So to have a player with 300 ping and super high score is outrageous. No one is that good with that high of a ping. It is very tiring. I'm still amazed I see new players, level 12, with 50+ kills. We all know how hard this game is, and I find it hard to believe someone can just jump in and get a high kill game, when they don't even know the map layout or how to play. Thanks for the comment:)

Thankfully, cheating in HLL shows no rewards. In Warzone, a cheater can still get beat. In HLL a cheater can sit at HQ and wipe a whole team, not nearly as fun for a cheater. Plus if you were this guy in the video, and kept getting TK'ed, it would be pretty frustrating. I have 1400+ hours in game, and although I have been killed in very suspicious ways, I have probably only reported 10 players or so who were blatant cheaters. Plus the server admins have no issues banning a suspect cheater. Now if we could ban them from the game and not just the server, that would be great. I have seen probably 30 cheaters in that time, and honestly I have never seen those same accounts again. So it must be boring to cheat in HLL.

I agree. But after a thousand hours of gameplay and seeing only 5 people get kicked, I didn't have high hopes in the first place. Plus it made a good video🙂

@@TwinCityShredder You know what I take it back. Made the same experience today. I get why you did that and the video is great for sure. Just had to experience the frustration one can get, when someone is obviously cheating or sabotaging the team (tk, Kick-trolls, comm trolls, abuse etc.) and still doesn't get kicked after multiple attempts throughout multiple rounds. So, I just didn't know better when I wrote that comment. :D

I believe you mentioned this in another video, maybe it was someone else, but I honestly had no idea about that until you mentioned it. I hadn't ever clicked on anyone on the map, so I appreciate that bit of info, as I have used that quite a few times since:)

I see this happen all the time, and always suspect someone is streaming. I look for "TTV" next to the players name, haha. They added a streamer mode, but some don't think it makes a difference on the outcome of the match. Streamers could put a 2-3 minute delay on their stream, but I assume that would hurt their stream, but leaving the map uncovered doesn't? I guess in a way, it adds more people watching your stream, which in turn promotes or profits the streamer. But who cares about the other 49 people working their asses off to save a single garrison for 20 minutes. If I streamed, I'd rather know that people are watching for the interaction, and not for the map. I've seen people on Twitch, play as commander and they sit at HQ with the map open the whole time. It's just lazy imo. Black Matter paid people to add a feature to the game to promote integrity, knowing the streaming community and the game could use it. But nope, some people are just that self entitled.

In some matches, I have taken on the boring job of just guarding a critical garrison so our team isn't steamrolled. During these guard missions, there's often a constant trickle of knuckleheads coming at it from all different directions, in the first couple of minutes after it gets placed.

That firefox extension I mentioned in the video, is a great way to see who has VAC or Game bans. It's truly sad to see all the people who have cheated in the past, even if it was 5 years ago. Imagine being so incompetent that cheating is the only way you can hold your own. Cheating in a video game is just pathetic on all levels. There is about 5 - 8 previously banned players in nearly every match I've played in the last 2 months. They may not be cheating in HLL, but their past bans are a little suspect. I just wish steam would display the game they got caught in. That would help narrow down, what type of cheater they are. But yes, I share the same mentality. I can deal with aimbot, but I can't deal with silent aim. I mean how is shooting into the ground fun? Thanks for watching the video, and commenting:)

Your welcome dude! While it is hard to spot these players, it's pretty easy to tell when something isn't right. Switch teams and check that player out, then TK them until they leave. The community could do this on their own, but since you can die from any angle at any time, it's hard to be certain, unless you clearly catch them. Good luck in you hunting:)

There is steam accounts that you can buy, to cheat, that are high steam level and come with a level of "trust" in steam. Cheaters are somehow the strongest sperm, and hopefully we see sweet justice in the form of AI Anti-Cheat. There is no way they think they're actually good at games. I do have a couple clips that showcase what it's like, in clear definition, what it looks like going up against a cheater. I hate to give these losers any attention, but some people think this game has hardly any, when 10% of the players in nearly every match, have previous bans.

This is an oldie but a goodie. And this problem still exists, but not blatantly. People hide their cheats from friends to protect their egos so people think their cool. Easy Anti-cheat is low level for HLL.

How do you know? He was AT and finished with a very average score.

This was recorded on July 6th at 5am mountain time. Although free weekend definitely brought in some new players with some suspiciously high scores.

@@TwinCityShredder Wow!...so at first I had just thought that he hadn't actually bought HLL and was just using the Free to Play Weekend to test out the usual ESP, Speed and Invincibility hacks that Unreal Engine 4 is so notorious for making so darn easy for "Scumbag hackers" like this guy to cheat in games based on that engine. I don't quite get the point. Hit reg is awful in this game. Sometimes you see blood and it doesn't actually register on the other person's end.

Cheaters are scum. And in HLL simply pathetic. Something needs to be done with Anti-Cheat developers. It's like solving the homeless crisis. Once they're all in homes, people lose their cushy jobs. Thankfully AI will eventually be the way forward, so companies like EAC don't have to work their brains too hard in figuring out ways to out-smart cheaters.

Just play on servers with an active admin. It's a shame, I know. Can't we just have a game, where these pukes stay away? Well we could have, if Warzone or Battlefield was actually a good game. If you recognize a cheater, and know which player it is, then switch teams and take them out and ruin their experience. Cheating in a video game is the most pathetic thing you can do. The devs at HLL are not paying for top tier anti-cheat. EASY Anti-Cheat is free for games under 10,000 players.

At least someone actually looks at reports on console. On PC we are stuck with these people forever it seems. Is everyone using Cronus on console? Wouldn't surprise me.

It also, I believe, comes with how many new players are coming into the fold, I am relatively new (only rank 50) and definetly am not the best at the game with looking and listening for people. These new people probably coming from shooters that are fast paced so it is easier to spot a cheater when there is one. In HLL with the maps as they are and how chaotic it can be and where to look for people and how to look for people with people on the servers several ranks higher than them they'll just assume that it makes sense since you can die at any time.

Can you imagine paying for a game and cheats, to stare at the ground? Imaging the type of psychopath you must be the kind of cheater, who practices at hiding the cheats. It's a sad state of affairs.

@@TwinCityShredder i got a random discord message with a legit looking panflute stating that i would get 3 months free discord nitro if i login and connect to steam. Found out later it was a scam.

@@TwinCityShredder The Lost Ark developer banned me. So I have a record on steam for the vac ban. Some hosts in Hell Let Loose auto-ban players with vac bans. I have to appeal every time I want to play a big server.

In almost 3000 hours, I have ran into only about 60 blatant cheaters. With that said, there is on average about 10 people in every match that have previous game bans or VAC bans. These range from 1 day ago to 10 years ago. With this game having such a low TTK, cheaters do not get very far. As with all FPS games, cheating will always be an issue, well until AI can sort it out. Which looks like we are on the doorstep of that becoming a reality.

This guy in my video was a special case. Firing into the ground and getting kills. Making life miserable for a cheater is really fun. Cheating is pathetic in all forms, and these types of players do not last long in this game.

I only play on clan servers. I even typed !Admin and reported that guy, but he wasn't kicked. I assume the clan servers don't always have someone there to assist. This guy was playing in 3 games in a row and was never kicked. He left once I TK'ed him on Hurtgen.

Have also played with the same cheater. Did report him but nothing happend.Also servers needs way better admins,they spec for 1 min and call them clean. This should be in the game trailer so ppl know what they are buying and paying money for.. nice that you shinne some light on it se it every day now, not aimbot that often but e.s.p😒

Every match these days seems to have atleast 10 people with past bans. It's funny, you can actually feel the game run better and the quality of matches when no cheaters are present.

Isn't it just sad. The industry must do something. This issue has gotten a bit worse.

There are about 10 people in every match that have previous bans. It's inevitable that the weak minded get attracted to a video game knowing they are trash and only have to pay 10 bucks a month to be good. Although with a low TTK, they still die more than most people.

Is this when checking the map? I've never actually clicked on someone on the map, just held my mouse over them.

Oh no a couple of times? Damn, that's not ok. I read that Easy Anti-Cheat tracks player speed to detect cheaters. This guy is running 4x the speed of normal players and teleporting around the map. Easy Anti-Cheat is garbage if they can't detect these people. Maybe Black Matter should look into how Riot Games does their Anti-Cheat. I swear if they just put a roaming pixel in the sky above the players on the entire map, cheaters would hit it without even knowing it, and it would be a dead giveaway as to who is cheating. If I see this person in game again, I will spend the whole match team killing him. Because you are exactly right. We already have a low player count, and cheaters ruin this game more than other games, based on the low TTK. I can handle losers with Aimbot, but to be an ultra loser with Silent Aim, is simply pathetic.

I am renting a server on Jan 6th. I cannot wait to catch cheaters. But I am monitoring every person who accesses the server through discord, and I will have a password for the server. I will be sure to use the monitor cam and record these losers and make some content out of banning them. I will be keeping a list of all players banned and I would be happy to share them with you. It's up to the community to root these people out. My server is for level 70 and up, so with the discord, and server rules, I will have rooted most out beforehand. I'm hoping the community in my server will report any suspicious gameplay so I may take swift action. Just a note on 10 kills in 1 minute. I have killed 31 in less than 3 minutes, with the garage on Omaha Beach. So I hate to get banned, when it was just a good streak. So it's a fine line to balance. I'm happy to make any server admin aware of any 100% proven cheaters. Artillery is always a questionable score. Some level 12, scored 1200+, all to switch teams and see him on artillery. I'm not really sure there is a perfect answer, but sharing cheater names, and watching gameplay.

I can't believe some people actually say it and believe it. Download the "Ban Checker for Steam" extension and you can see in the recently played with, who has previous bans. Just saw 2 people yesterday that had bans 0 days ago and 4 days ago.

I wish we would come across someone that would be honest as to why they cheat. I get cheating in Warzone, cause that game sucks and everyone is cheating. But in HLL it just doesn't make sense. I even get hating Activision, but they haven't played HLL enough to even understand the viable reasons to hate the game. This kind of cheating seems to be more than just not wanting to be bad at a video game. One of the cheat sites stated "Imagine not cheating in a video game in 2021". Of course that presumes that everyone is a cheater, and by them cheating they are just starting on an equal playing field, but HLL just isn't like that. I will add in that scream for the next video hahaha:)

There's actually quite a bit of research that has been done about the psychology of cheaters. From memory, there are some obvious ones like the cry-babies who can't stand losing or need the endorphin hit from winning. Then there's the trolls and griefers. There are also players who start cheating because although they like the game, they feel they need to cheat because of...all the other cheaters. I've also seen a DayZ admin question a cheater and his response to why he cheats was...he was bored.

I think that's the burning question. How can ones personality be so soft, that cheating is the only way you will be good. Especially in HLL, where 1 cheater can sway the outcome of a match. But an even bigger question, is why the gaming world, hasn't found a way to outsmart these players. I had the firefox add-on that lets you see who has game bans on their account, and there is about 5 previous cheaters in every match I play. Those who are my nemesis in game, and have killed me through walls or what not, I go and check their profile, and if they have a ban in the last 100 days, I check the games they played 100 days ago, and then I see how long they played that game. If it's suspicious, I report them to steam. Not sure if steam does anything but, there is multiple factors I check before reporting them.

Console is currently running Update 9, PC is running Update 10. Enjoy it while it lasts, as AT only gets 2 rockets now and other loadouts have changed too.

While you will die from very random spots, there is no denying that cheaters are in this game. They are the pathetic losers, and we should publicly shame them at every chance we get. They are hard to catch, but when I do, I post them here.

@@TwinCityShredder Yeah, I was just saying that while you were spot on with a cheater in this game. I for some reason would not have felt as if there were a cheater in the game. I feel a lot of people bush camp especially on defense waiting for those easy shots to put you down when you had no idea it was coming. I am also bad, so that's a thing too. Having an identical situation to you storming Omaha I don't think I would have raised an eyebrow thinking there was a cheater. Perhaps you were already very suspicious due to the previous game. Many people have been spotted firing into the ground and getting kills. 4 players got banned on an Aussie server last week, during a match on the Koala server I was in. Clearly this player hadn't dialed them in yet.

@@TwinCityShredder im Aussie and play on task force koala a lot, so good to know they are on top of it. i got that steam ban checker and raised both eyebrows when i seen the amount of vac bans and game bans there were. out of 100 people a solid 6 had prior bans, thanks for that info! as now i know that these people getting impossible shots could just be cheating and its no fault of my own. its also made me more aware and i use terrain to my advantage even more now.

@@Lo.0se When I was playing on Koala, all of our Garrisons were lighting up at once. and I was getting killed from 300m by a PPSH. It was one of the most incredibly frustrating matches I've ever played. I actually backed out of the match, because I couldn't stay alive, while laying in a trench on Kursk. After I left, Sassy(NZ player) contacted the Admin through Discord, and the Admin caught 4 people stream sniping and cheating. They were banned 2 minutes after I left. I was happy to hear an Admin take action. Also happy to see it wasn't our team's fault. That VAC and Game Ban extension is the only way to confirm a past cheater. And some past cheaters have bans from 5 years ago, but you will find some players with bans less than 90 days old. There is about 5-10 past cheaters every match, and when you get into a fair match, that felt normal, you can confirm that no player has previous bans. Because it's nearly impossible to be 100% sure, with no kill cam in the game, it starts to make sense, when you die from a place where no one can see you, or know you are there. Then check your Nemesis and check the extension, and see if they have a past history of cheating. I caught one cheater, who had a VAC ban 0 days ago. He had 300 hours in CS:GO, and "last played date" of the day prior. So he moved over to HLL and played with cheats. Total loser. I'd love to have a better method, that's more accurate or paints a better picture, but I've played long enough to know when something feels off. You mentioned it, and I do the same, I use cover and prepare for that cheater, and wait. They think they are invincible, but not in a game with a 1 shot kill. Thankfully.

@@TwinCityShredder yeah, i have had that experience of getting domed in random places and dyeing 20-30 times without even seeing a enemy. and how you mentioned you know its all legit when you have a clean match. its a night and day comparison.. those matches have kept me playing.

Glad you enjoyed it. I have been playing this game since September 21st 2020, and have logged in 1800 hours (Level 254). I have used the same settings since U7, and also using the same PS4 controller config since U7. This video is from Update 9, guns handle a bit differently now. Some people call good gameplay suspicious, when they themselves cannot achieve the same feat. I wasn't always good at this game, but I am confident, that anyone in my community will vouch for me just being good at the game. Well, unfortunately the game is running Unreal Engine 4, and hacks have been available for that engine for a long time. I'm not a coder, but I have to imagine that scripts are built on top of the game, by allowing the user to have ESP, Player data, and aimbot, as well as access the game engine's developer components. The players aren't technically hackers, the companies that create the hacks are hackers. The players are just downloading a piece of software that does all the work for them. These software's have a hardware configuration tool, to avoid VAC bans and possible detection, so they can use the cheats indefinitely. One of the biggest cheating companies for Warzone is called Engine Owning, and a basic version of their cheat is gonna be free to use in the near future. So things are about to get worse, unless these companies step up the lawsuits, and cheat technologies. These cheats are sophisticated, as you can set them up to be almost undetectable for the viewer. Soft aimbot, with adjustable FOV sliders, and soft lock, with silent aim. The list goes on.

Console users can still use a Chronus. Which would remove recoil and add stronger aim assist, but not aimbot. Thankfully you can overcome this by just getting better.

@@irfkaptan and just to be clear,Chronus is just the most popular for consoles. Since you add your own script, but Chronus works for PC too. Actual cheats like aimbot and ESP are made for console, but only for games that have a large player base, as any coder making cheats is gonna do it for the money, and there wouldn't be any money to be made for console hell let loose.

Very well said. The issue is far worse than when I put this video out. I also don't like to attract this behavior so I don't try to put out videos of it. But I am working on my final video of hell let loose, and all of its major issues, and will be adding a couple clips of what it looks like to die by a cheater. You are taking the right approach by recording and analyzing footage. Keep up the good fight.

I appreciate the support! Catching cheaters is not so easy in this game because the devs have not given the tools to do so for server admins. But at some level cheating will destroy this good game as it seems nobody ever gets caught, and it would be a breathe of fresh air, if T17 actually did a monthly blog and list banned players Steam names publicly, like some other games do. There is a ban list that floats between server admins though, so that helps, but I feel that 10+% of the playerbase is using some form of cheats, their just hiding it well and not being blatant rage hackers. Which is worse. I always say though, with a 1 hit TTK, it's easy to play the long game, and take them out at distance. I've killed at least 60 speed hackers in this game, and it always feels good to send them to the death screen. I am sitting on 2 clips that I could go into detail with on actual cheaters. One was blatant aimbot, and the other was 100% using wall hacks.

@@Soldierinthegarden I agree. Keep your head up, and over time you will learn how to combat even the most suspicious players. If you have a couple friends you play with, then communication is always the best at taking down cheaters. Sometimes it might take all 6 players to do it, but the satisfaction is amazing.

If you find an exploit in game, then it's not a big deal, as that won't last very long. But using cheats to gain a legitimate advantage by modifying code, is a huge problem for many games. The fact that a team can have multiple cheaters and still lose a match, shows the level of teamwork that can be achieved. I personally haven't seen any bugs that could be exploited in this game. Besides going into an empty server and setting down an OP and taking it back down and repeating the process to gain an achievement. What exploits have you seen or heard people using? I haven't been searching for it, but also haven't stumbled upon any.

Well, many times ago I didn't have a decent computer, so I always played on a gaming cafe. Seems like a retard decided to modify game files of other players and I got banned by rising storm vietnam anticheat, alongside other gamers. Unluckily zero tolerance will just leave a permanent stain to guys like me while cheaters will just create new accounts for each game. Btw, not playing at gaming cafe anymore.

Thankfully I haven't seen this level of debauchery since this was recorded in update 9. It's funny because the community fought so hard to get a vote to kick system that actually worked, and then their servers that disabled vote kick for some reason. The truth is, the devs could implement a better plan, using phrases like cheating, abuse, etc. Just add more reasons and other will likely understand. Abuse is very vague. Cheating, well you have to prove it. People select cheating when someone too their tank. Stupid stuff like that. It would be nice if vote kicking someone for cheating, would actually reach the dev team or easy anti cheat. Giving people only two options for reasons to kick someone, and we wonder why nobody ever gets kicked. In 2100+ hours of game time, I've seen less then 10 people kicked. The server admins could lower the threshold to 24 as well, instead of 29. In that clip above, if people on that team all in the same location didn't notice that guy cheating, but I was able to tell from the opposite team, then join teams then chase that guy around, then it just shows that most players are oblivious to what's really going on around them.

@@TwinCityShredder Yeah its hard to notice sometimes in the heat of battle, so many things to consider, if i see someone shooting at the floor id probably think they desynced but yeah its got better, I play European and its only been a handful of times we think theres someone cheating so its ok but they do need to implement some more advanced anti-cheat

@@Sebatticus when I log into the steam website, I go to "recently played with", and use the steam checker Firefox extension. Shows players with VAC and Game band. There is 5 to 10 previous cheaters in every match. Whether they are cheating in HLL, is hard to say. But sometimes my suspicions of a player in game, turns out to be a player with multiple VAC band and multiple game bans, sometimes with bans less than a month prior. I once ran into a guy who was sus AF, and he happened to have a game bad of less than 24 hours prior. The game was CS:GO. Which he had 5000 hours in. It's just so lame to cheat, and do you not have better things to spend your money on? Ricochet anti cheat, has been slowly growing, and recently I saw some video of a player turning invisible, when being shot at by a cheater. This player had such bad aim, but was able to kill the cheater, since the cheater had no idea where he was. It's good to see this stuff as it's affecting these companies bottom line.

Did you watch the video? Most cheaters pay for their skills monthly, with a membership from a website of their choosing. Anywhere from 5 to 100 dollars a month. Thankfully in this game, most guns are a 1 shot kill, so it's pretty easy to take them out, unless their invisible.

This is all great info. In the future do you think we will see user side anti-cheats? Like something you install on your PC, than protects you only? Instead of server side anti-cheat?

@@TwinCityShredder already alot of that...unfortunately since they run in the same memory we can manipulate them. The real key is behavioral analysis over time and good administration. There really isn't a way to combat esp, and aimbot due to the client needing to know when an how to render the other players. There are some thought experiments that would make esp hard. Eg. Not sending the client a render location till fov is within x milliseconds of intercept along a plot.

The playerbase is turning petty, with each free/discount weekend. For as long as I've played this game, a 5+ kill streak is always part luck and part skill. To get a 15 KS, it requires the right positioning, excellent shooting, a couple bot players, zero communication on the enemy team, and a bit of luck, and when you get called a cheater, you gotta take it as a complement, and try to rinse and repeat. I'm not sure what you are implying here, but I'm not interested in seeing the enemy locations. I am interested in exposing those who cheat though. If I wanted to cheat, I would just stream snipe. But I'm not lazy, and everything I have learned in life I have learned the hard way. Plus I am a monster at this game, it's the 10-ply players that need every advantage they can get, because they cannot win against players like me. Cheating in a video game is utterly pathetic, and believe me, I have wrecked more accused cheaters, than have wrecked me. The only things better than ruining a cheaters experience, is psychedelics and a vagina.

I wish the stats had a "most recent death" category. As a kill feed would detract from the immersion. I also wish they would bring back being able to see what player is using what role.

Im getting shot behind stuff and it’s just getting ridiculous, I’ve played long enough to know what’s possible and when I should be safe. These people should not be headshotting me like they do. Wouldn’t be surprised. I feel like it’s easier to cheat on this game because there is no kill feed. You literally can’t tell who killed you unless they are making it very obvious they are cheating.

@@tedbundy8082 I play on PC. And while players on console, can use Chronus, or a mouse and keyboard, for someone to develop cheats for console is rare. It is possible that there is something out there.
