Meursault's criticism to yi sang in korean is him mimicking how yi sang talks, using a lot of "isang" rhyming words. Meur says so much isang there that it puts the man himself to shame lol

It couldn't have been any other thumbnail. I swear, Meursault is the funniest of the Sinners simply because he's so deadpan and serious yet weird in his own way. Also, second time Yi Sang is weird about smells.

I'm starting to think that one line in the update about "incase someone going to do the final stage of 3.5 while the current event is going on" is made for you specifically

One thing to note about the captain is that she has unique sanity mechanics. One of which is that she really really doesn't like it when ANYONE else gets kills. If an ally kills an enemy at a higher level than her, she loses 5 sanity. Though at the same time, if she gets a single kill she gains like 25 sanity instantly. also if an ally dies she gains 10 sanity lol. If she outlevels the combat encounter it is IMPOSSIBLE for her to lose sanity outside of specific enemy effects like sinking.

Shout-out to poor Sinclair getting the full Twitch Backseating treatment.

Don't forget you have Ishmael's Blind Obsession now! It's one of the coolest EGO in the game imo

The reason why Captain Ishmael monologues like crazy is because 1.) Ishmael in Moby Dick monologues like crazy, and 2.) In Moby Dick, when the harpooners are set out to hunt a whale, Starbuck (first mate, equivalent being the Yi Sang Identity) and Captain Ahab both had a habit of monologuing to encourage them. Starbuck is pretty notorious among the crew (Ishmael specifically points this out) for saying weird things while doing as such (which is why Starbuck is Yi Sang, probably), and Captain Ahab's big scene early in the book is them going wild and whipping the crew into a frenzy upon first coming above deck. It's fun little details like this that help me appreciate the literary inspiration shown in Limbus.

Good place to end the episode, not because the dungeon is long though, it’s actually a single floor with only a cutscene at the beginning and end of it, it’s a good place to end it because you could then fit the 3 mini stories after it (they are all cutscenes)

I kinda enjoy how each time slightly reflects each other like how Hong Lu changed the subject to avoid Meursault’s focus on his addition to the chocolate mess while Rodya actively asked Outis about what she thought of her.

ID review, Captain Ishmael edition! Pequod Captain Ishmael: As Captain of the Pequod, Ishmael works fantastically with her crew. As a mix Bleed/Poise ID with focus on the former, you may already see some small benefits that arise from putting her on a Bleed Team. With her S1, she gives Aggro and Defense level up, which is not bad, especially considering the fact her S1 has a value of 12, which is great. Her S2 has Assist Attack as a gimmick, which is already good, but she also just tosses out +3 Offense Level up to adjacent allies at UT4. Effectively a free +1 to clash power, which is amazing. Then is Harpoon of Obsession, which is probably the most underwhelming part of her kit... which is saying something, because it's still good. It's consistent, and at UT4 she gets a Coin Power bonus conditional based on bleed which amps up the damage on that skill. It's absolutely not the focus, don't get me wrong, you basically want to be spamming her S2 as much as physically possible, but it's good. I would recommend this ID being one you focus UT4ing when possible, second to WARP Ryoshu, personally.

Just thought I would mention that you can find the E.G.O from the previous in the dispensary under the respective season. This E.G.O will not appear in your extractions, so the only way to get it is through the dispensary. Also, the end of this battle pass (and by extension canto 6) has been delayed by at least two weeks. When this does happen, your shards count for all sinners and number of crates will be cut in half and automatically converted into thread. Please take this into account when farming the mirror dungeon.

This Intervallo is such a good one. The one after it is epic in its own way as well, and it seems the most recent one coming in just a few days is gonna end up being just as good as its predecessors. Captain Ish had turbo low SP that one fight because she's one of the total of *two* IDs we currently have that has unique sanity effects in her sanity tab. She loses SP when allies kill enemies that are higher level than them. Basically, prideful woman getting angry at kill stealers. (She doesn't lose it if an ally gets the kill via Assist Attack) On the plus side, she gains SP when killing enemies even when they're lower level than her - which other IDs do not. In fact, if she kills an enemy that's higher level than her, she gains a buttload of SP immediately, so she's often the first sinner in my team to get to 45SP. Running her in mirror dungeons is a constant dance of her losing SP, and then regaining it all back extremely fast - but just like N Sinclair, there's a danger of her sinking too low if you don't keep an eye on her. Because of her passive (and skill 3), you generally want her getting kills anyway, so it's a nice bit of flavor that also has a mechanical purpose. It kinda ties into nicely with Blind Obsession, that really good EGO of hers you unlock at the end of the battlepass.

29:33 captain ish has unique ways to gain and lose sanity(she kills a enemy regardless of level or an ally with assist attack kills an enemy/loses sp if any ally steals her Kill unless the ally has assist attack)

I really insist, be it before or after the content it's for, you should check out the trailers. They were quite stylistic in how they approached them, made them very unique experiences. It was great hearing you have such a laugh at this intermissive chapter, that story you shared was also wild lol... Barbecue cake is a new one to hear of...

Reminder that for every 3 levels lower than the enemy your IDs are, the enemy gets a +1 to clash power. The reason some of your IDs are getting Struggling even on good skills is because they're too low level compared to the enemies, so try to get your IDs leveled to each Canto respectively (35 for Canto 4, 40 for Canto 5). (The game doesn't properly tell you this so it is a bit hard to catch).
