really enjoyed the new spread democracy mission, even though it did kinda feel fairly easy, its simple concept is very easy to grasp and easy to enjoy ;) Enjoy! Timestamps: #helldivers #helldivers2 #helldiver
Bah, it is practically new! Me and my friends actually never played on low enough difficulty tiers to even see it. We just jumped straight in too far for them to show up. Glad to see it come up to the difficulties we all play at though.
Yeah. The skill on display is really impressive, especially just the endurance of being able to play for so long constantly fighting while making very few mistakes. To be fair though, most really good players prioritize side objectives over kills, so it isn't quite a fair comparison. But yeah, super impressive
The flag will raise as long as your on the point (and seems to retract when off the point), but it will only complete when the immediate area is clear of all enemies large and small.
The flag takes 5 min to raise if it is uninterrupted. It goes down very quickly if you leave the area. It also attracts all near by patrols with the music.
Its great on your own, but until they fix the non-host dot damage issue it has real issues. I lost host status in an operation and boy did the gun feel terrible then.
@@zotaninoron3548 Yeah, and you can't even host your own lobbies to fix this issue unless you're running solo because the host can change from whoever has the best connection (or whatever conditions are required) even if you didn't create the lobby
i remember doing the flag in lower difficulty and immediately I realized that this mission had some potential to be difficult. This mission is effectively capture the control point as you have to stay within range of the flag to raise it and if you leave the flag it loses all its progress at a fairly fast rate. So if your team doesn't have any staying power then it'll take forever to do.
Or if you get in a breach loop with BTs it's a real pain, have to leave the OBJ and go somewhere else for a bit, I was on the 2nd flag with a breach loop happened to me and had 7 Bile titans in just a few min and just kept kiting into patrols, finally cleared all the hunters so I could clear the chargers and BTs and got the other OBJ done and got to extraction with 4 sec left on the clock and 2 more BTs trying to follow me home for dinner
@@abcdefgcdefg5178 I can’t be the only one who thinks bile titans are super lame. They have no weak spot and just slow the game down until you have a stratagem which works to kill it.
@L_videogame if you shoot bile sac they can't spew and then all they can do is stomp, also there are plenty of weapons that can kill a BT, EATs, quasar, RR, railgun, even the flamethrower..they can be a little lame if a bunch spawn at extract but I'd rather fight a BT than a bunch of hunters
BTs are much weaker ever since the nerf to their head HP. Their heads are two shots (I think one if you kill all sacs) to EATs, Recoilless Rifle, and quasar effectively making them equivalent to two chargers in terms of firepower required to take them down. Personally, I think people sleep on EATs as that's basically a stratagem that kills 1 BT or 2 chargers per minute. It's even one of the earliest anti-armor unlocks. But dealing with 3+ BTs at the same time is a bit tough.
I had never played this mission when I was at level 1-3 either. It's a very funny mission and being forced to stay in such a small area will potentially be a challenge.
holy shit dude, thanks for asking this, it turned out way more fun the i expected, and first i though it to be stupid from lore perspective but then i realised "raising the flag" is the perfect cover up for an extermination mission so it can still make sense for it to not only be a newbie training mission type!
there's a solid chance the stalker cloak fix with how it interacted with fog may have resulted in an indirect buff, as there is some degree of fog over the ground literally f^cking everywhere at all times on pretty much every planet, so they were almost always highlighted
There's actually a lot of options when it comes to bile titans and horde clearing options. lately i've been running the gattling barrage or the air burst orbital with a 500kg, 500 for heavy targets, airburst/gattling for breaches. I've also been using *choice* of airstrike with a precision orbital. precision orbital can one tap a bile titan if you hit it right and with practice it's really not too difficult. most of the stratagems are actually really good at what they're supposed to do, but they don't get a lot of action because they aren't "meta"
Fun fact: hmg emplacement can snipe the spore spewer from atleast 340 meters away. Also a single emplacement has enough ammo (or should i say damage?) to take down 5 shrieker nests. On top of its defensive utilities when extracting or doing long objectives, you can also use it with the jetpack to get up to high ground and rain fire from above. Just make sure to test th ground with another stratagem because many high ground places are bouncy, and stratagems will either not deploy or bounce off.
ye, its pretty fun but i struggle to use it coz there's always either a titan a charger or a spewer that will instantly destroy me and/or emplacement that im using any tips? Highground so high that bugs cant reach is very rare
The scout armor , with 50 armor 550 speed and 125 stamina, together with the stamina enhancer, any light armor with these base stats will do tho , the passive is personal
Nice gameplay! How do you get to your strats so fast? I played the video at half speed and you've popped the menu and keyed in half the sequence in just a frame or two
the burning dmg reduction ur talking about at 13:29 was for the dmg the player takes from dmg no? not the dmg we deal, or atleast thats how i understood it
One of my finest moments was in diff 5 game with low level players. I killed 1 charger with a resupply drop, another with the EAT drop, and then the bile titan with the actual EATs. It was my smoothest sequence ever, and hella satisfying. I wish I could pull those moves more often!
I remember some of the game devs playing with a random player and they said instantly dropping support items when you land will instantly spawn a horde or patrol, maybe it's changed with patches but it still seems to happen
I have a question about sprinting, you call stratagems while sprinting, I assume if you reassign stratagem arrows to different buttons it doesnt stop you. But another question is you open a minimap while sprinting - this I already dont get, I think my helldiver either walks without shift with map open, or map disappears when I press shift
Keybind them to other buttons then the walking buttons , he uses Marcos for it also. He never seems to respond in the comments he responds in his videos. And for the minimap there is a setting you. can change in the HUD options.
Did they fix the issue with non-hosts damage over time? Like is it actually worth using damage over time such as the incendiary breaker or flamethrower as a non-host?
Takibo you should really give orbital precision strike as a substitute for 500kg, it’s a 100% kill rate as long as it lands on the titan and it has a relatively low cool down as well. It’s honestly great lol
i honestly love the anthem music. Someone data mined the actual song with lyrics. it's very moving. makes me want to be a better diver. Also, the flag raising is like 2 minutes.
Not everything needs to be complex, doing it for fun is fine. I don't think the Raise the Flag mission works as a main mission on higher levels, but perhaps as a secondary objective.
I tested the blitzer extensevely and I came to the conclusion: Helluva fun but sadly it targets everything. Your vegan neighbour, the poop-pile in your pants as four bile titans pop up in front of you, a falling leaf as well as the little stone you never noticed until now. :( But its fun! Stay crunchy.
There are just way too many bugs when I play solo, I can’t kill them fast enough because there are always more. Sometimes I have only 20 minutes left after dealing with the first breach that pops up.
I have been watching allot of you games and have been noticing that , yeah my 7's got like double your enemies on a 9.. and it's fairly consistent, I'm starting to wonder if you are sponsored by the devs and or they even blessed you with better odds on breaches and such , yeah sure you die sometimes but in generally your matches are really chill. And no it's not the patch. I've been considering this for over 2 weeks already
He just doesn't post the ones where he fails most of the time, he says so in other videos, alot of it is just rng, has nothing to do with him being "sponsored by devs" I run 9s that seem like a 2 as far as enemy spawns sometimes and so.etimes they feel like Joel is just hip thrusting the enemy spawn button...he plays 9s where he has over 1000 kills so def not always a walk in the park
@abcfdefgcdefg5178 I assumed something like this , either a deal or he did multiple runs and uploaded the smoothest one, I've also had walks in the park before on high difficulties so yeah , plausible. It wasn't meant as an insult in any way also, Takibo got some real skill. Undeniable. It just seemed like his odds where like way but way better then ours. Thanks for the response tho , I value the effort.
I rather like missions like this… the ICBM, data retrieval, 710 extraction… the ones I don’t like are the blitz and elimination ones. I don’t care for holding off the Zerg, I want objectives I can do at my pace on a sizable map.
Honestly feels like a slap in the face that they gave us the 25 percent more damage module and then nerf the base damage by 15 like what the hell??? So now the module is effectively only 10 percent more damage
If you are of the flag area the flag starts to lower again also pretty sure you don't have to clear small bugs to raise flag, at least it raised just fine for me with them not aggro-ed.
I cant speak for takibo but for me it doesnt do enough to be effective vs bugs. They spot you anyway and at that point extra nades, stims, limb health, or even explosive resistance (with certain loadouts) are just better. Scout works until it doesnt and then you have to deal with hordes anyway so why not just be aggressive.
The Blitzer is better but far away from usable in higher difficulties. It does not chain between enemies like the ArcThrower does and the fire rate is still too low to deal with swarms. Everyone using it today kept burning through reinforces like no tomorrow.
Its perfectly fine for higher difficulties. I've been using it in 2 person helldives and haven't really had issue with it. You just need to treat it like what it is, a means to hold the line if you can funnel enemies. The multi stagger it provides makes it easy to stay in place and push enemies back. The main thing to watch out for is that you can't get sorrounded, you need to have the backbone of the enemy ahead of you to hold a position.
Like nothing said, def usable on 9s, the stagger is fantastic and so is the second thrower, especially on bots the arc thrower is a beast. A little more practice with it and I'm sure you will see how good it is 😊
Btw please don't take my last comment as condescending, I really do mean keep practicing with it because if you get the technique down with both those weapons it will help alot
It’s been three months. Shouldn’t there be a flag involved when you raise the flag? I feel like before the game was released as a completed product would be the ideal time for it. But, they sure have had months to finish making the flag raising mission.
sounds like you didn't spread enough democracy in your cadet days, this is not a new mission :D it was only at the low difficulties i think and it was my first ever mission, too, i'm so glad they brought it back!
