Thanks for the kind words buddy that means a lot. You've got the wooden decks? Very nice.. I almost purchased them and in many ways wish I had.. my constitution came out really well, but I do wish I'd gone for the wood deck. Maybe for my next build.. thanks again buddy 😉👍👍👍

Awesome cheers. I’ve just ordered this kit. It’s the Heller 1:100 scale right? How are you finding the kit? I’ve got my Vallejo acrylic paints. The wood effect on your decks is amazing too! Again great vid. Would love to see you do more.

@@LemonZ1701 yes this is the Heller 1/100.. the kit is absolutely amazing. O e of the best kits of the victory in the world without going down the wood on wood versions. The manual is a logistical nightmare though. Who ever translated it may have been blind. One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is dont pay to mich attention to the manual in terms of the colours. There are so many inaccuracies. I am working from actual photograph and illustrations of the victory. The main colours are correct, but some of the smaller details aren't and they will stand out in the finished build of you follow them. Do you have instagram? Hi there. Thank you for for the kind words. The wood effect paint is a very very difficult thing to explain by text, but requires painting the decks up to several times to create it. You can see the wood effect much better on my Soleil Royal build video. I am planning on doing a tutorial video relating to this as I'm getting a lot of requests so stay tuned for that.

Hello my friend. The stern was an absolute nightmare to be fair. I used a very fine brush and painted free hand. The pillars to a few attempts before I was happy with them, but simply a fine brush almost as fine as a needle and very carefully painted it, but it was hard work to say the least

In all honesty I have absolutely no idea, however the Victory's deck is very light in teal life. I've never known any deck to go white though. I would have preferred to have lighter decks, but alas I didn't have a light pigment.

Hi buddy. No I wouldnt recommend this model for an beginner. The main structure of the ship is ok, but once you get into the standing rigging it gets very technical. You have to make all the shrouds, ratlines and all the tackle for the rigging. I always say that if I can do it, anyone can, but it's a huge task
