Thank you sir for what your doing and I hope more Catholics do the same. I grew up as a catholic and for some time now been away from it. As God has been calling me back I have been thinking of joining the Orthodox church as I have attended many protestant churches and felt empty and truly missed the eucharist very much and the worship. I must say the pope which I have an issue with as a head of our church as Jesus is the head, has made it harder lately with things he has said :-( Either way, thank you sir for everything and god bless.

Sir. Thanks. I really like these life stories of conversions and/or prodigal returns. Mine, though, being of the latter, will remain UNshared. It involves stupidity, dumbassedness, and EVERY sort of folly EXCEPT abuse and acceptance of abortion. Not exactly inspiring. Yet, by the grace of God, here I am.

You are my favorite RU-vid apologist. There's a charity in the way you speak, and I love it. I had a bad experience with a Presbyterian friend in high school, she was always so mean about our religious differences. I remember at one point she said "News flash, the pope ISN'T GOD." Being the only Catholic at the lunch table, and all the others just looked at me... I remember feeling so hurt... like, obviously the Pope isn't God. I knew that. 8 years of CCD and I couldn't even make good arguments (even though I knew they existed, in a religion that had Aquinas and CS Lewis and Therese and Pio....). I felt so stupid that I couldn't say what I wanted to. And she was the one with the backpack full of color coded note cards, armed to come and get me. It was bad. Anyway, I think we need to approach all of these discussions with charity and not superiority. Thanks again for your channel.

I like your content very much. Even though English is not my mother tongue and I live in a German-speaking country, I can understand you very well. Originally I wanted to watch videos in English to improve my listening comprehension. Now I think it is probably no coincidence that I ended up watching your videos and sometimes videos by Mike Schmitz and Bishop Barron. I like your positive attitude and look forward to each new video from you. 🙂

As a cradle Catholic I went to an Evangelical youth group as a teen (generally for social reasons) but I really learned something…Catholics need to step up their Scripture game. I really needed to defend myself to others operating on sola scriptura. This is absolutely essential

Yes! This series is awesome Ken! It gets Catholics to actually touch their Bibles! Keep going! 💪 Catholic Biblical literacy needs to be improved, like yesterday. 😄

Thank so much again for sharing your stories and for this great video. After watching all of your videos I thought to myself I really hope that you would oneday do a series of Bible study. Show how you would approach and read and study the Word of God. I find your methods REALLY inspiring and helpful in my journey to study but study deeper into the Word of God. And I have adapted your methods in highlighting my Bible. Wow I was one who would never thought to mark the Bible. When I open the Bible I ask myself where do I start? Do you read the Bible through its entirety first then go back and look deeper into each books separately or as a whole again? And which book should I start when doing this? Then what should I do next? I really need help and guidance. I find myself repeating the same problem when reading the Bible I couldn't stop but when I do I couldn't pick it back up again.

Why would catholics need a distinct Bible if it was true to the original texts? I do of course apply the same question to any other re-interpreted texts.
