This is somehow an inside job. Most crimes are perpetrated by known parties to the victim. The other possibility is from one of your videos from a week or more ago when you mentioned it. It may be that female works in that building and was casing the site, owed debt, addicted, or any number of reasons passed info to these perpetrators. There is no good reason to take property from others, and I hope you and your family get some closure, meaningful justice, and restitution.

You might want to go to local businesses with cameras that are close to these apartments. Being that you have a truck and trailer already there may be more video with possible licence plates. This also may give you a direction of travel. Also a possible lead may be a a former employee. Someone has to know what was there. Hope you can check and find these people.

I was going to say that they should emphasize the times of the first appearance and also when they exited. Broadcast that most of all. Then anyone who has CCTV facing any street can do like you say and try of stitch together the path of arrival and departure. Then, I don't know if Ephraim is covered by the Offer Up app, but that service is used by thieves extensively.

I use to be a police officer in a major metropolitan city. When I retired, I moved back to a small town out of that state. The crime, mainly theft and drugs, rates are out of the roof. Crime is and has made it to small towns. Some from people from large cities, but also from locals. The way I see it, they came prepared. So they probably cased it a few days earlier. You know what the vehicle looks like, so go back through your previous recording to see if a vehicle keeps appearing checking out the area and timing your brother. I have additional questions, but not here.

I live in rural southern Colorado, and the past year or two has been really bad especially for those who live on isolated farmland, there are several places around here that got picked clean on multiple occasions, typically the vehicles they are driving are usually stolen. A word of the wise is write down the serial number of every tool you have in the event it ends up disappearing. I caught a person sneaking up to my truck last year in the dark either to scout out what was of use in my truck, I went out to have a verbal discussion with the party unaware there were 3 in the back of his vehicle hiding getting ready to slam out the rear door and jump me. If it were not for my security camera system, I may have not been so fortunate today. Stay safe and always have someone watching your back if you confront a criminal.

I used to be a builder here in Sweden and I really understand your brothers predicament. Not only is it very expensive to buy new equipment, there's also the loss of income until you can continue to work. You still have to pay the employees meanwhile. If we can't bring our tools back to the shop or store it safely on the site the insurance company will not pay. So we rent shipping containers and use our own massive padlocks, class 4 or 5. Five being the highest, for storing guns, ammunition and explosives.
@Skinflaps_Meatslapper
@Skinflaps_Meatslapper Год назад
I had to get into one of those containers in the past. The guy put his keyring on a box inside, forgot to grab it on the way out, and locked all three padlocks not realizing it. It was a remote location and his truck keys were on the keyring too, so we were all stuck there. Had the big welded ring on the padlocks so you couldn't get at them with bolt cutters or brute force attacks with sledgehammers. Took about five minutes to get in with a set of picks and a dremel on the last one, but about two hours to put new hardware on the doors. I recommended a couple of puck locks because you can't lock them without the keys in hand. Honestly, there's not much that's going to stop someone from gaining access, you can only deter them for a while. The idea is to deter them enough that it's not worth what's inside or it's too risky to break in. Even if you replaced the container's door with an impenetrable safe door, it's just a simple matter of using a cutoff saw to gain access through the wall of the container itself. Not feasible if it's in a busy area, but in a remote location, no problem.

@Skinflaps_Meatslapper
@Skinflaps_Meatslapper Год назад
@@randyhome1544 That's a silly saying. If a lock is the only thing keeping a person from stealing, they're not very honest, are they? Meanwhile, completely honest people are locksmiths by trade, or practice locksport, and can get into pretty much any lock you can buy without breaking a sweat, as if the lock was never there. Honest people are honest, they don't need locks to direct their morality.

Good Luck Robby. I hate thieves. My construction business was put out of commission after a lifetime of tooling up and putting that business together. All my tools were suddenly gone. I had a crew of five men with households to support that also lost their income. At my age, it just didn't make sense to reinvest in tools again for the business, so i was totally out of ability to work in the industry any longer. I never got any of it back. I am 67, and it still pisses me off every time i have to repurchase tools just to do small jobs around the house and on my vehicles. Go get 'em.

My truck was stolen from a shop local to me a few years ago, the most frustrating part was that I got the video of it getting stolen but couldn't read any plates. What's more frustrating than that is we know the group responsible, but police can't do anything about it. Thankfully it got ditched because it broke down on the way to their destination, so I got it back a few days later worse for wear, but they still steal other trucks every week. I hate thieves. The answer is just one word in the previous sentence. Minimal cost, guarantees they will not steal again and a strong deterrent to others that might choose this career path. Years ago I was working a construction co. building apartments. One day around lunch everyone knocked off. Soon we noticed smoke coming from a building that was framed/exterior complete/and stocked with sheet rock. Fire Dept. Evacuate every one . The building was a tinder box. The heat was so intense we had to move to the next property. It ended up setting 2 more buildings on fire. While this craziness was going on someone went through all the unaffected buildings and stole all the subs tools. On that same job a sub got His truck broken into at his apartment and all his nail guns and compressor stolen. He happened into a pawn shop and there's his tools. Police- got his tools back. Wish Bro the best.

I know just how you feel my mother passed away Christmas day 2022 and her car was left to me. 3 days ago went to the auto parts store in my town here in South Africa went into to store ask the guy if they had the part. As he went to the back to look for it I thought let me just check on my car as I parked it quite far up and across the road. This was a matter of 5 maybe 10 min and the car was gone. Also I just came from the grocery store with the trunk full of groceries. I was so rattled I could remember the cars registration number when I was on the phone with the cops. Any how such is life hope they find your brothers vehicle and mine. Haven't watched the video yet but going to now. Keep up the good work keeping me and countless others entertained love your channel. Frans for South Africa

I had a similar situation to Robby thinking he found the thieves. About 12 yrs ago my car was broken into regularly, it felt like they had the keys as I knew it was locked. Usually didn’t get anything, typically change from my coffee if that. One night they broke into it and stole my subs and sub box from the back. I got lucky as we had a fresh dump of snow that night and I was up early to take my wife to work so their tracks could be followed. I followed their footprints and even seen where they put down the sub box as it is heavy. Followed it right to the basement suite that they lived in. When I got to the door it took everything in me to not kick down the door. 10 yrs earlier I would have got some mates kicked down their door and kicked the living shit out of them. However, I had more to lose at that time so I decided calling the police was a better idea. As there was a tonne of accidents caused by the snow the police response time was less than helpful, think it was around 3 hrs…even with me calling in repeatedly and near the end threatening to just take care of it myself. The only good part was one of them had a warrant, they got a rude awakening, and my car never got broken into again, as police didn’t pursue charges. Hope you guys find the stuff and it works out better for you than me with the police.

@jayhinds3937
@jayhinds3937 Год назад
I agree with you totally. Jail is to good for thief's. When they get out of jail (aka paid vacation) they will just go back to their old ways. There is only one way to eliminate their stealing. The answer is just one word in the previous sentence. Minimal cost, guarantees they will not steal again and a strong deterrent to others that might choose this career path. I owned a construction company many decades ago and had theft problems in small towns. The police told me I could not wire 120 volts to our job trailers. I would have if I could have. Make them gone for good. Catch the scum.

Keep at it, you'll get them. Also, if you're trying to sneak around, turn the light off that's on the camera. Don't light up the side of you face for someone else to I.D you. Also have your brother put cameras all over his site, they're cheaper than the cost of new equipment, cost of downtime waiting on the insurance company, etc. ( and replace yours with optical zoom cameras).

These guys had to be seen by locals. That truck and trailer set up will be easily remembered. This shop isn’t on a main road. So the amount of people having a reason to pass that barn will be narrow. I would drive around and think about if you passed that main road where will you be going to and from? If there are construction projects, hardware stores equipment rental places, show them the pict of that truck and trailer. They will have seen something.

Robby, I am really glad that you uploaded what your brother got stolen.>>>Being a former police officer, I would recommend that you also do a further video on all the contents stolen, as most always, these thieves will sell their stolen goods on the street, pawn shops, or at favourite watering holes. >>>That truck and trailer is easily recognizable, and you did a great job on showing the truck & trailer, as the woman, and the truck's features. >>>I sure hope that you can solve and catch these thieves. I have no time of day for thieves.........nor will I ever support them. Please keep us in the loop, Would You? Another suggestion, please check with other business along the route taken, for other video footage, as they may have stopped to fill-up at a gas station, or stop to eat at a diner, etc.

Many of them are a bit sensitive to criticism. 😏 Again hope you find these scumbags. 👍
