I'm gonna have to agree with 96t5wagon here, getting that kind of setup yourself is probably going to cost more than you'll ever make out of selling merch in the first place In my opinion what you need are more and better designs that resonate with and are attractive to not just people who have been following your channel for a long time, but also classic Volvo and car enthusiasts in general
Would be much easier to just sell your merch print on demand thru a fulfiller like Printify. No hassling with inventory, machines, shipping, etc. 100% of the profits aren’t there but neither are 100% of the headaches. Just a thought…
Hey Robert pretty much doing a full resto on my 95 850 turbo and just replaced both gears in the odometer and it's still not rolling. I don't wanna go back in there since I feel like I got lucky not breaking anything but I'm thinking I either didn't seat the pins well or the electric motor is bad? thoughts on this?
Where did you get the gears from? I've had gears not move d properly because they were too tight on the shafts. I've also seen a broken wire on top of the cluster. Stop them from moving. Were either of them moving before replacing the gears? If so, is probably bad gears. I've considered switching my gear supplier to Swedish car parts.
@@RobertDIY appreciate the reply!! both gears were completely shot. I could crumble them with my finger nail cause they were so old. New gears were from IPD I think odometer gear parts was the manufacturer. I'll have to check to see if the gears are spinning, then clean the connections real good on the pins/motor and make sure its seated well into the board. I'll get back under their tomorrow let's hope I don't break anything I feel like I got lucky the first time. Also was able to fix my front speakers by cleaning the connectors so fingers crossed that does it for the odometer.
The satisfaction of knowing you are helping an absolute GOAT. Whether you like volvos or not there is no denying this man is a great human...not sure if I can say the same for you.
