Why is my recon turbo actuator logging software faults. Is it bad out of the box? Is the wrong part number actuator in the wrong box? Could it be the firmware in the actuator has a problem. Could the ecm calibration be causing all this. Lets see how this was handled and the customer back on line ASAP.
This is not a very common problem. In fact it is quite rare these days but it can happen once in a blue moon and it was our turn to see that blue moon.

The thing that bothers me the most about all of this, is the parts counter guy probably didn’t soak this up and learn anything. You had to do their job for them and yours. This is why our diesel community is so important. Thank you Joe

Same issue only service info says use pdd and it doesn't pick up pdd as an option? Was this under the engine side calibration? I didn't see the screen where you had all the parts numbers I've also downloaded the turbo zip from Cummins calibration

Insite> calibration selection> ecm pod (bottom rectangle)>open available under calibration workspace so automotive under that industrial etc go to bottom of the list and you will see pad or programmable devices >click the plus in front of pad and highlight turbo actuator ( name my be a little different but vet you get the idea) then choose P/n. Yoau have to extract that turbo zip to the calibration workspace or you will not see the p/n’s shown in I my video

Good morning Joe, I had Cummins ISX 15 2012 that have problem with fuel knocking when the temperature range from 130 to 150. Do you know what thatcould be? there is no code

Timing changes as the engine comes up to operating temp. Do a cylinder cut out test. I suspect an injector not firing correctly. 2012 if the injectors are original they have some hours on them.

email me at faultcodehelp@gmail.com. supply your engine serial number ( 8 digits ) and the fault codes and or what is happening. If you can send me an ecm image pulled with insite send it. That image would look something like the following: 20240712-2351642.EIF Also let me know anything you changed related to this problem and where you got the part you installed IE dealer, cummins, junk yard etc
