Thanks for the video! I have to admit, when you first mentioned exercising the animals, I pictured sheep and goats wearing backpacks with weights inside. Lol, I wonder if they can be trained to carry around their own supplies?

I know a lot of people train pack goats to carry things. Maybe you can start a new trend with pack sheep? 😬🥳

Was that beautiful kid goat really the result of a Boer buck over a Nigerian Dwarf doe? I didn't think that was possible without a c-section. Reason I ask is because our Boer buck jumped the fence and we have a miniature x Boer doeling out there. Thankfully, she was not in heat. Totally off topic, sorry. We recently bought soybean oil to bind the minerals to our grain only to find out that the oil smelled rancid. Also seems that bagged feed does not smell fresh and we often get feed refusals. On can only wonder how long it has been sitting in the warehouse. Sure wish we could order our feed and supplements from you.

We’ve had pretty good luck with breeding boer bucks on ND does so long as they aren’t tiny. Laverne is the mom of Mike and she’s about 40 pounds. I will try to upload a short of her in the next few days so you can see her. I would not allow him to breed one of our tiny ND does. We had to figure out what we were going to do since we keep so many different breeds here on the farm and so we purposely kept ND does we knew could handle a boer buck. This allows us to not keep a ND buck which tend to be prolific breeders and difficult to contain. This causes a lot of problems when our boer does go into heat and the ND buck is in rut before the Boer. Feed and additives can be a disaster. Soybean oil can most definitely go rancid and grain can get stale. We are sorry you have to deal with this. We have an upcoming video about a feed additive product you might be able to find in your area called mix 30. Hopefully it’s available where you are.

@@LinessaFarms Thank you for this Tim. I really appreciate your efforts. We learn all kinds of good stuff from you all the time. It seems those little bucks sure have a high libido. I will be on the look out for Laverne's short.

Thanks Tim...great information as always...appreciate your science based dialogue - too much hocus pocus, "I reckon...(this or that)...let's just feed them moonbeams" misinformation available which steers people in so many incorrect directions. Still can't understand why people go for that guff over solid, evidence based information.

Hi, Ross. I suppose people are attracted to what is easy. It causes a lot of problems.
