Но - как обычно - "о главном" - за "изобилием частностей" - позабыли напрочь. Мозг человека суетен и мечется из крайности в крайность, - но самое важное "не считает существенным" сколько-нибудь. nice to see an upwards use of the sticks :) So many styles today seem to fixate on the over head swings (from 10am to 2pm on the clock). While ok in early 'training', as you have lots of time to react. Armoured sparring has also caused more downwards attacks (for the power). But in practice (and without armour), these are the most telegraphed movements you can do in any armed fighting system :) Whereas lines of attack from the bottom that rise up (from say 4pm to 8pm on the clock), these more often come in at blind angles to the opponent. And you aim to hit with the tip edge of the stick (at least from the Filipino traditions). Peace.

I understand the theory of this, however, I don’t understand how to make a “Hen” or “Heng” sound with my tongue on my palate, mouth closed, and inhaling through the nose. I feel like I need to open my mouth to make a sound while inhaling. If you can clarify this for me, I would be extremely grateful.
