Here's a tip: when applying henna start with a small section in the middle of your head and put that into a bantu knot then take sections around that and work your way outwards and keep wrapping them around that first middle section. You'll prevent mess on your clothes and skin and makes for an easier application 🙂 this is the only way I apply my henna now
Hey ya'll! Definitely look at the Henna QnA video CP made about 4 months ago. She answered that after you let the dye release after 4 hours, apply it for 30 min to 4 hours. It's completely up to you. She claims to leave it in no more than 2 hours. Hope this helps!
You should try a henna mask with boiling water with onions, garlic, red tea, and hibiscus, with a little rosemary (add only boiling water). After mixing , add two tablespoons of Turkish coffee. If your hair is dry, add honey, a little honey, and one to two tablespoons of vinegar. Organic apple This is a recipe that has been known to us Arabs since forever. It is very useful and gives a wonderful, slightly reddish-brown color
I can’t believe she’s not at a million or more subscribers. Curly proverbs you are absolutely amazing and my hair has grown so much due to using herbs. I’m finally happy with my hair. I’m trying to get mid back then I’m going to lock my hair.
She is cool, when I started watching her vids they were supper informative . But she sometimes talks excessively, which the English love to do and she advertises too much. So that is why she hasnt hit 1 mille yet
@@eyeam111 even so. A lot of people especially RU-vidrs take her recipes and make small little changes and then recommend it to their viewers without giving credit where credit is due. She also grew a lot of peoples hair with free information, people should be trying to follow and help her. It’s only fair. I literally started her recipes a week ago, never tried any before, but I watch her videos all the way through to make sure she gets her coin since she’s so helpful.
@@eyeam111 She’s not talking to be talking. She’s explaining the detail behind what she is doing and the science, and the proof is in the pudding: LOOK AT HER HAIR AND SKIN. I’ve been following her for a long time and listening to her content and it’s 💯 legit. She could be charging for all of this but she’s doing it for free. Even if you never buy any of her products (which she JUST started to sell) you can still make her recipes and use them as guides. She should definitely be at 1 million followers at least. And she will.
Drinking Game: Take a shot of tequila for every time she says “literally.” 🤣🤣🤣 I use henna in my daughter’s hair. My mixture is henna, coconut oil, aloe vera juice, avocado, and banana. I include in her hair conditioner and deep condition her hair. Her hair feels hydrated, soft, healthy, strong, and defined. I’m noticing that her edges are growing right along with the rest of her hair. Henna is really a herb.
WOW that's very nice, am going to include it in my children hair routine, pls I want to ask, which product do you use?and also do you use it as a DC or hair mask and do you wash it off with shampoo after , thank you for your respond and am sorry I have ask so many questions 😉
Not too many questions. I mix the henna concoction with her deep conditioner. After I apply it, I cover her hair with a plastic cap, and then I place a bonnet hair dryer on her head. I put the dryer on a low setting for 20 mins. Then I rinse it out. I do not shampoo it out because I shampoo her hair before. If you shampoo it after, then you’ll wash out the benefits of the herbs and oils.
@@CurlyProverbz thank you so much... i have bought every herb ,oil and essential oil you have talked about ... I’m stuck with Alma an henna they are my favorite and fenugreek ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you.. I’m in process of using it on my daughters hair...
Saaaaame, my hair has become so much thicker, flexible, and even though I now use henna regularly, my hair has actually become darker, like jet black, but I also use rhassoul clay. And my hair has become so much easier to handle as well honestly! My hair isn't just getting longer but also thicker over time
@@freeeepalestine__ i have trying to figure out what will make my hair thick and i just cant seem to find anything.. Its growing but not as thick as i would want... but i love the henna....
@@Belizeanhazel rhassoul clay really helps as well, I find that my hair feels thicker after using it. I use it with henna, apple cider vinegar and sometimes Amla all mixed together, once a month, I've been using this for 2 years now though for me to see the results because it is cumulative. It adds on over time

@curlyproverbs stay out of my shower!! 🤭 I swear I heard your voice the other day when washing my hair tell me "You know you can add a Bit Henna powder to your conditioner Elaine to take it up a notch" WTH??? You know I stepped out of the shower and did it 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you so much for all you do!!
You can add other things to the henna to get the grey closer to your natural colour. I found an amazing website with lots of recipes and examples. The person who owns the sight literally did a PhD in henna. Can't remember the name of it, but it's prib pretty easy to find.
@@CurlyProverbz I am a new subscriber, could you please do something for new people. I am overwhelmed by the level of information, I don’t know where to start. Is there a top list of products to try first?
You stated that so lovely. 🥰 I also adore her and I don’t care how many times she uses a word because 1. It’s super cute and 2. They’re not bad words so who cares! And 3. Her content is remarkable! God bless you all! 🤗🥰
I love your idea of using pumpkin seed oil mixed in! This weekend I am going to use the Henna Aloe in a gloss. I would love to see more videos on how you use your products. Thank you for helping us!💜
Just used the hena/aloe mask with following this routine. It was Bomb! Moisture & definition was everything! I have never seen my hair so moisturized & defined. Also my first time using hena on my hair and it did not change color. Loving the results! Will be loading up on buying this mask! TY Curly!
Watch Arabic girls the boil a bunch of herbs and onion/garlic then use the warm boiled water in mixing the henna. Adding oils and some yogurt and egg when it is cool 👍🏾 that is an organic way to make it.
Yay, super simple one, I have all the stuff already LOL You got me past collar bone length. I'm almost 50, never know it was possible until I met you (via RU-vid 😉)
I have always applied henna to dry hair. I thought that’s the way your supposed to apply it. I’ll try with wet hair next time but I can see it dripping and getting messy. Btw I LOVE henna! Has made my hair grow to my waist!!
Curly Proverbz, it would be a real treat if you could have your mommy on using your products! We haven't seen her in awhile, and would love to see how her hair is doing.😊
Listen I've had her brand of henna for a few months and im absolutely in shock that it released the dye so quickly and a few hours later it was super rich in color😍😍
Thanks for this video because I have learned that I have only applied henna incorrectly on dry dirty hair. Never Again! But I must say that even on dirty hair henna has strengthened my hair.
whatever curly proverbs is selling i am buying full stop ! 5 years straight been watching her videos doing her tutorials and have seen good results she is the truth xoxox love love love love this channel THE TRUTH right here xoox
I’m so inspired by your hair routine! I have to say that I started a natural hair journey in my hair because of your videos😂 I’ve became a truly henna junkie, and it’s a shame that I couldn’t find that many options here in my country, Brazil. However, I’m totally planing to import some of the products I can’t find here♥️
Ok first I want to say thank for the products and thank you for the education. I purchased all of your products the day you posted them. I finally had the time to use the Henna masque. Let me start by saying my curls are amazing my hair was super soft right after washing the Henna out which I have never experienced before. This was the best Henna I've ever used. I also have color treated hair and the color looks more beautiful than ever. Best products I've used in a long time. Keep up the excellent work. 👍🥰 GET IT GIRL!!!!!
😭😭😭 Thank you. Honestly feel like after all these years I am conveying the info as I have always wanted to but not managed before. This has been a year of much growth so it’s amazing for you to say that
@Curly Proverbz It's true you have a genuineness about you that translates to getting our attention and the research you've put in and the proof of your hair as well as others is undeniable, so people want to be front and center when you share the valuable info that you do. My hair has grown since using some of the ayurvedic herbs you've suggested . Never used Fenugreek until I saw your videos, and it has been a game changer for my hair. Thank you for posting to RU-vid, I don't have Instagram... Congrats on all your growth this year and much more to come!!!! You are a real mvp in the hair game❤️
This is all so confusing... I'm seeing lots of mixed reactions on various channels regarding the use of henna... Some channels say no oils in henna because the oil prevents moisture from entering the hair strands, other channels say henna is super drying because it's like a protein treatment & shouldn't be done every month... What's your take on how often henna should be used? I'm armed with henna, but I'm not sure I'm ready to pull the trigger...
The reason henna changes color on your hands more quickly than other places is because of proximity to the heart. Henna works in conjunction with blood circulation and in places where circulation is weaker (your extremities like hands and feet) henna can get super dark but the closer to the heart the less effective it will be
The reason henna stains your face less than your hands is because the skin of the face is thinner than the skin on the hands and there is more oil on the face.
Hi there! ☺️ How often do you recommend doing this type of intensive mask/treatment? I have fine curly hair. And when do you think your pro strength henna will be back in stock? You’re so amazing, so inspiring and I’d love to support! Keep shining! ✨
I think once a month or twice a month max! Because henna acts like a protein treatment and its dye does stay in your hair for a loong time. Once a month but consistently is quite enough
You have so much joy and authority in your presentation! I’m so glad you launched your own line! Thanks for sharing all the love Farida! Your tips have changed my hair! 💜💜
I have never thought of using melted shea butter in henna. The smoothness of the henna was absolutely lovely. Your hair is truly beautiful! How much henna did you use in your recipe? Didn't appear to be the entire package. Would be interested in your other recipes for henna as well. Congratulations on your new endeavor!
Just did my first henna mask after starting my Ayurvedic regimen a month and a half ago. My hair came out feeling so hydrated. My curls + waves defined, stronger. Also my hair is already pretty thick but I could tell it was already thicker 🥳 I feel like my hair is reaching its highest level of health. Thank you for the wealth of knowledge you share on your channel! It’s helped me on my journey so much. ♥️
Curly, I use my hand mixer to blend my henna et al and let it sit over night. Next time I will add some aloe vera juice. Recently I added zizyphus ( a natural Ayurvedic cleanser) to clean my hair. I really like it. I don’t like shampoos even with Ayurvedic ingredients added. Also when I use henna, I spread a little Vaseline around my edges and neck and use a cover around my shoulders. Not being picky just my routine. Also I have been to the mailbox twice looking for my Xmas 💵 and this dude LATE. As soon as I get it, I will buy me some CP Henna 👍🏾😘👋🏾
I’m loving this! But I’m all about that cassia life I’m definitely jumping on that once/if you launch it, not buying it from anyone else but you once it happens. I’m so excited to see how your career unfolds 🤍
Absolutely love the channel and love the way you present. Was really keen to understand some tips and hacks for using henna to cover grey. Would love to hear from you on this. Don't want to look like a carrot top with henna application n have tons of grey... Help help help
Hey there Curly Proverbz 👋🏾😊.....I just wanted to take a moment to say ty for all U do💕ur videos have really helped me learn how to take care of my hair, and actually enjoy it....I've be practicing what u teach since about July 2020 and I can definitely see growth and length retention. I purchased ur Henna product a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased with my purchase 😀👍🏽....it arrived quickly, and this video helped me know how to apply it properly. I noticed a difference in the texture and minimal shedding after the very 1st application of the purple bag 👍🏽....I actually prefer this one over the green aloe mix since I use my own aloe vera mix😊👍🏽Ty Curly Proverbz....u've change my view on hair care...Love ur channel 😁🙏🏽💕
Thanks for the Henna mask video! I'm a visual person it was a great tutorial! I have never in 52 years had any color added to my hair so this video has eased my nervous feelings. Yes please keep the videos coming.
I love henna! I used it on my medium brown/blonde highlights...Wow! I love the color! It made it a beautiful red. It didn't look like regular hair dye. It looked so natural! My husband loves it! I also do it for my hair health. Super Amazing! Love you and your videos! Thank you!
So I did the exact recipe she used minus the oil. Her henna powder, water, melted Shea butter and her elixir. I let it rest for 4h and let me tell you, my hair felt AMAZING!!!! I don't regret purchasing your products
Thank God for this video, cause all my henna treatments have felt dry! I’d always go in with a deep conditioner after but my hair has grown an inch in 1 month so thank you so much!!!!!!! Love your channel
Add fractionated coconut, olive or avocado oil to your mix or hair before the henna. I added honey to my henna mask last week and it made a big difference.
hey @CurlyProverbz, I've been on henna and other ayurvedic herbs for a month now! I started using henna/amla glosses and black tea rinses and worked my way up to henna teas and added more herbs to my gloss. when i tell you I have been trying to thicken my hair since the beginning of the quarantine (march) and only NOW have i seen results thanks to YOU! you saved my hair and i want to thank you because i got my sisters on this now. thank you thank you thank you!
Lady this is why I do this!! I know the power in learning our hair and transforming it. What is does to our confidence and pride in ourselves. I am beyond happy to hear this. Please keep spreading the word. I would love to see your progress pics if you ever get a chance curlyproverbz@gmail.com
I stumbled on your channel two years ago looking for Apple cider vinegar DIYs and thank you! You helped me to finally understand, manage and embrace my curls. Xoxo
Tried this mask today and it was an amazing experience for my hair. Lots of moisture and definition. My only issue is not being able to wash it all out to style it afterwards.
Love you’re videos! I’m doing a henna gloss treatment while I’m watching your video. I tend to use a heat and sit under my hooded dryer to speed the henna process. Question do you plan on preparing henna with indigo mixture for coloring? I want my dark brown henna mix, because of my grey hair. Love and peace
I’ve been so busy lately and haven’t watched your videos In a while and my hair hasn’t been the same 😩. I gotta start my henna routine again. I told my sister to watch you cause she had a bald spot and her hair came back after using your methods. ☺️ my hair grew the most with henna. Love ya girl💕
Try the rose method to apply henna, starting from the top of the head to twist a section, and all the other strands of hair around It, until you'll pick all of the hair. It should become a big bun
I like this idea. It makes sense because I always feel like all the goodness runs to the back of my hair, where it soft lush and healthy compared to the middle and top where it’s often dry.
My heat damaged hair has finally grown out so now my hair is curly all throughout. I would like to maintain this healthy curl. I would like to try your henna line, but through research some people has said they experienced a looser curl pattern after henna. Can this happen with your henna since it is high quality and all natural?
@Curly Proverbz I get it, you want to sell your products however, saying that your product is the best you've come across in nearly a decade kinda undoes what you've said regarding various brands of henna you've supported in previous videos over the years 🤔. I think it's great that you currently have your own line i definitely applaud and support you but maybe just add the link below with brief descriptions of your products instead of giving a plug in every video now! Personally, it's a turn-off for me because it makes me wonder if your products are as great as you say or if you're just trying to make sales. Nothing personal, it's like watching an infomercial at times. Hope this lends some insight from a consumer and follower's perspective. Thanks for sharing 🙏.
I just received my products! I haven’t used the henna yet because I have my hair in a protective style (twists). However, the oil is amazing and I use it every night. I have to say it smells very good!!! Cannot wait to take down my hair to use the entire line!!!!
The only reason I don’t use Henna is because it stains to a strange orangish/reddish colour. I’ve tried balance it out with amla but never seem to do much! I do Brahmi and amla which close give the same results as henna. Any suggestion on how to avoid the stain? Many thanks xo
Your excitement over your henna has me excited for the weekend so I can use this hydrating method. Got my pumpkin seed oil ready! So grateful for you and proud of your achievement. Love from NYC!
How often should the henna mask be used, also thanks so much for this video I'm struggling with extremely dry and kinky hair, and my daughters hair has remain the same same length for over 5 years now, I'm hoping this will help
Thank you so much for all this great info! I have been following your channel for about a year now and you've made an incredible difference in my hair journey ❤ I was just wondering how long you'd leave this treatment on your hair and whether you'd follow up with a deep conditioner? Also do you use any sort of conditioner to rinse out or just water?
Hair is growing girl. I’m on a consistent regiment now. I can’t wait to tag you for my hair growth before and after photos. 😘😘😘 Love you for years now.
You better get it queen!! I'm applying OKAY black henna on my 2 long wavy braids today and I attempt to roller set and straighten a bit😄. I'm SO looking forward to purchasing your henna blends💛💛👌
hey! I just wanted to say that I started MSM yesterday because of you! It was hard to find since I'm brazilian and is not well-known here. My hair type is EXACTLY like yours, you are my inspiration! ❤️
Oii, tudo bem?

@@Fashionpreneurondemand I was asking a valid question. I dont know you so would not be able to determine your age. My daughter has had gray streaks since her early 20s and so have a lot of other people. You seem offended when there's no reason you should be.
