No its does highest stab damage in game if you want best slash sword get a execution sword but stab is gonna be horrible and you have to do quest to get that thing
Historically accurate- robber barons were barons that went rouge and secretly supplied bandits with armour and weapons to earn money for them through raiding etc because of the conditions and lack of money
@@ayaanahmed4360 I thought they were people who somehow manage to keep getting voted back into office for 50 years while bleeding the state dry of the commoners wealth.
What the above guys said, in addition to the fact that they seem to be rather well trained bandits, which would make acquiring more money and gear easier
I don’t know if there’s supposed to be some secret here, but these guys are exceptionally well armed for common bandits and one of them shouted “Herr Gott” (My god) which is German.
@@aljewin591 They don't. They're completely random. I have a max levelled Henry with full on expensive plate armor, and most bandits on my random encounter are either unarmored or equipped with low armor. And for this camp, they'll be like that for the whole game.
Go ! go go ! Give me an H, an E, a N, a R, an Y !!! Congrats

This camp can be cleared during the prologue. Just jump over the wall with your horse and slaughter them. Or just drive through there and skip the escape part and explore the whole map before the main game.
that helmet in particular is a helmet that seems to be eternally dirty. I hate it, even though it's one of the helmets that give the best stats in the game. even if you have it cleaned at the bath house, if you walk around for more than three minutes or get into a fight right after, it will be just as dirty.
This happens to me with the Lords of Leipa pourpoint (probably spelt that wrong). It’s so freaking annoying. My Henry seems to get dirty really easy regardless tho
@@zzodysseuszz AI encircles and take turns more rapidly, so outnumbering is more serious troible. They basically won't let you replenish your stamina and you can go down to 5 countrymen in strawhats, as they are fast
Funny how I first tried to be a good knight, only to slowly downfall to a stealthy assassin. Dressed in black clothes, archery master, poisons... I loved to raid camps and battlements at night. I think I only participated on 2 knight battle events with full armor. And on those times, my favorite weapon was shield and hammer. Hack hack hack!
@@jamescheddar4896 That's literally for consoles. This was game originally for consoles. The sword attack direction is changed with right stick, the same that moves the camera. It was literally impossible to do it without target lock. This wasn't a pc game originally.
I’m still really new to this game, were you able to take them down really fast from increasing your strength? Is it the sword? Is it the difficulty? Do I just need to git gud? Help me please
Yes, strength 20, high damage sword, headcracker perk chance to knock an enemy down with one hit to the head and good armor and even then they almost killed me, when I got a few hits in the back at the end there. Do not sweat it. Do some training with Bernard. The more he curses as you land hits on him the better.
@@Illacertus I've been getting a lot better at fights with multiple enemies but i notice if its Cumans or bandits with heavy armor it gets harder again. I'll for sure try the headcracker perk i'm at strength 14 right now
Guys help, I have 15k and a whole lot more stuff in my stash that's waiting to be sold. And all the armouries untouched. Tbh, I don't even know where I earned the 12k, last I checked my purse it was 3k.
There are two types of people, ones who say that the combat mechanics in this game are good and the adequate ones. The first blows that go through the enemy are the icing on the cake. If the second game combat mechanics will be even half as bad as the first one, I wont buy it.
I'm pretty new to the game (only been playing for about a week) so I'm not gonna pretend to know a bunch about how the combat works, gotta say though for me at least warhammer and shield seem like the best way to go. I can hit people pretty much whenever I want with guaranteed damage regardless of what they're wearing, and the shield adds really good defense and can help to an extent with me still being pretty bad at blocking, not to mention that I killed Runt on my first go using the warhammer so I've been partial to it since.
@@ubristanianempire4007 year maces are pretty much the best last game weapon. Short range though. But honestly it doesn't matter. I've played standard plate guy with axe, standard plate guy with hunting sword and shield, now finishing with sneaky dark cloth/leather bowman and longsword ranger. Once you understand the game, it's very flexible
