Loved this show growing up and Erin Moran as Joanie Cunningham was one of my first crushes...as us older people would say. Here in England it was a miserable time but shows such as this and spin offs like the great Mork and Mindy certainly help put a smile on my much younger, wrinkle free, face.
Knowing Ron Howard almost turned down his part in "Happy Days," was the most surprising part for me. Watched "Happy Days," as much as possible, growing up.

I can't believe Fonzie's bike hasn't sold. I wish I was rich. Henry Winkler, in my opinion, is a real stand up guy. Hes down to earth and doesn't think he's better than anyone else. I may be wrong but he just gives a positive vibe to me. Good vid👍

Thank you for sharing about the show. My brother loved these shows. I am making attempts to view all the shows he loved, but have not gotten to Happy Days as yet.
Also pretty well known that the whole show was born during a 1972 Love American Style episode that had many of the original cast members in it. Harold Gould was the father, however.
Erin Moran could of used some help from Winkler, Howard, Williams.. All of them knew Moran was in dire straits, yet their egos are so elevated they felt no sympathy.
@@allan9603 the cast of happy days wanted Erin Moran to go to a rehab center but she refused. They didn't want to give her money because they thought she was going to spend it on drugs.
You mentioned that the Fonz never actually road his motorcycle but you showed a clip of him riding it at .13 seconds. Nothing major, just pointing it out.
@@karenthomas2102 , actually Winkler was embarrassed to ride the motorcycle because his feet wouldn't touch the ground, as he is only 5'6"; probably shorter now with aging.

Show was fantastic Henry Winkler The Fonz add a girlfriend Pinky tuscadero. @@FactsVerse I've watched a lot of episodes of Happy Days and the Fonz seem to hold my interest the most. It seemed to get more exciting with the Fonz there and then Pinky tuscadero. The Fonz had the greased hairstyle always combing his hair the cool guy with all the answers and he had a sense of humor. to a teenage girl that was the thing. Great video. But you cannot say Henry NEVER drove the bike. Watch the opening credits.. you clearly see him cruise into the parking lot of Arnolds, and wave to someone. So we know he did it at least once. Henry is a GREAT guy! I was at an autograph show he was appearing at. His line stretched across the room, out the door, down the hall, jumped to the other side of the hall and to the outside. thats ALOT of people. He would take breaks from the table and go out and talk to those waiting in line to see him, because he knew he wouldnt get to sign for all of them.
Fun fact: Henry Winkler was considered for the role as Danny Zuko for the 1978 film Grease. But he turned it down because his character was too similar to Fonzie and didn’t want to be type casted.
I'm most surprised by the fact that the motorcycle didn't sell at auction, that is unbelievable. I would have been most surprised by the fact that The Fonz couldn't ride a motorcycle but I already knew that and in fact he did ride the bike once in the show, it was the first episode when he tried to ride it and drove in a straight line and crashed it, that was it for him lol.
6:38 The "initial pilot" failed and was dumped like other failed pilots on "Love American Style". Then Ron Howard did American Graffiti and the original pilot suddenly became interesting. Hence "Happy Days."
The Triumph motorcycle was the biggest letdown. Fonzie did actually ride a Black with Red pinstripes Harley Davidson EARLY in the series, and it was COOL! He wasn't tall enough to balance it.
Didn’t know Henry never Road the motorcycle 🏍️! Didn’t know he couldn’t read his lines due to dyslexia and improvised his lines for his audition. Little known fact…on Love American Style, Ric Carrot played Richie’s Brother Chuck. Gavin O’Herlihy was cast as Chuck for the Series and was written off going to college. Ric and I were Principals in a 60 second Pepsi Commercial in 1971-72.
A little concerned because it sounds like the person reading for this is either somebody different or has a very bad cold and so I hope whoever it is recovers quickly if they have a cold or flu or something.
So he never road the bike, except for in that picture of him riding the bike (that is up for sale), that you showed just before saying he never road the bike.
Don't know why viewing this video, never watched the show. But I now know where Mork came from now! Didn't watch Mork and Mindy either. Did watch Laverne and Shirley now and then, here and there. 👍
