Thats a very nice little kit! Intrigued by the capacitor like you. Definitely improved by the silver on the black card...much prettier 😊 Nice to see the two together at the end. Hoping for some nice weather soon 🤞

Beautiful but complex little model! This capacitor FF seems interesting. Lets see if I can get some rubber planes to fly first and then it will be for sure something to try out. Thx for showing how you use the sequins for the wheels. I plan a raid on my wife's things to see if I can locate and capture some of those. Thx for posting!

That looks very much like the latter bird dog a up grade of the original bird dog that had the 152 stab / elevator vertical stab rudder etc I used to have book on them as I build 27 years ago a bird dog 1/5 scale in US Marine colours with a os 120 f/s motor I can find pictures and sold it a long time ago

@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes I thought so dont know what ever happened to it as the person left town about 3 months latter Reason why I built 1 was a military plane easy to fly and I didnt want a cub / grass hopper as every other person had them

Awesome Cliff! She went together fast. I love the idea of the capacitor...so much better than winding to me. Now I want to build a Hensons dangit. You're a bad influence Cliff! Looking forward to the trimming flights! BTW...on another subject entirely...what batteries do you use in your Micro Aces? I have some of the e flite 1s 150mah for the Horizon UM's...would those work?

They'll be ok as long as they physically fit, don't go above 1s though, you'll fry the rx board, have you started your Fokker yet? As for winding, no big challenge when you have a mechanical (or electrical) winder, cheers

Thanks Alan that's kind of you to say so, the cap idea is good, you can get bigger capacities but then the weight goes up so you need a bigger model, then you need a bigger cap ...!
