我記得國立故宮博物院，每天下午4時30分後，可憑身分證件免費參觀故宮北部院區。

很喜歡Wes眼中的台灣，很多美麗的風景都是不經意發現的，不一定得要去有名景點，反而故宮旁門票20元的庭園跟小洞天在兩位的互動下更令人覺得有趣

Update: The flowers didn't adjust well to their new life in Tainan. Maybe the change in weather was too much for them. I'm trying my best to keep them alive, cool, hydrated... wish me luck. I would love to keep them as a good memory from that day. But if they don't survive, at least I can watch this video over and over again haha

No, no one will think that you guys are broke! It is wise, it really takes a whole day to tour the national museum. You guys just have to go there early the next time. Besides, the whole world is a museum...a modern-day museum.

Oh my! This video makes me long for Taipei, Wes. I agree about Raohe being more simple and more on food while Shilin offers more variety. But either way, I love both night markets. Tamsui is also a personal favorite and Ximending where the vibe is amazing. I stay in Ximending also most of the time. I had a great laugh about the Britney Documentary in the candle-lit romantic dinner you and Katherine described. True enough, Taipei is really full of surprises. Take care you both. :-)

台灣是個小島，不管你住在那個縣市想去其他縣市玩都很方便…… 個人還是不喜歡北部那種常常陰雨綿綿的日子，偶而去旅遊還不錯 ，不喜歡家住在那裡 而且物資也貴，還是高雄好👍說到熱每逢夏天氣象局顯現的溫度台北都比高雄多2至3度。。

I grew up in the general area of the Museum in my early teens. Now that I am in my fifties and living in Southern California, I do feel nostalgic seeing your video. You should spend the whole day in the Museum if you have the time, like Katherine suggested.

The museum is one of my favorite museums I've ever visited. Great and very interesting artifacts. Definitely worth going inside next time.

When you return for a proper visit, bring a copy of "Hello Kitty's Introduction of 50 Treasures at the NPM". It is a great guide to the highlights of the collection, and explains each highlighted object quite well. You should have taken Katherine the flower lover to the free formal gardens of Chiang Kai-shek's Residence in ShiLin, a very short walk from MRT that passes several breakfast shops. The way ShiLin market surrounds the temple is not random. Just like markets also surround European cathedrals, the markets fund the religious institution at its center, and marketing and economics determined which shops succeed at which location.

You need some information→There are six free entrance days for this museum: New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), the Lantern Festival, International Museum Day (May 18), World Tourism Day (Sept. 27), National Day (Oct. 10) and Taiwan Culture Day(Oct. 17). Next time you can plan to go to Taipei to participate in the Double Tenth Day on 10/10 and then visit thNational Palace Museum~
