@@codymorrill542 I’m comfortable with my gym progress either way and I don’t give a damn if they are enhanced or not, fitness influencers take gear all the time
This man is smart. He always puts attractive people in the thumbnails to make you click and watch but then he actually provides very useful information.
@@dillonwolcott7655 I agree. My point is you don’t need do silly movements like this to develop that. Training must be time efficient. Hundreds of thousands of of athletes, many of them greatest of history, had these abilities without wasting time on all of these silly movements. In modern times, with all of these fitness YT channels, they are constantly trying to come up with the next new thing, just to have content on their channel in an attempt to sound credible and intelligent.
@@Shomethescripture yeah, so many RU-vidrs don't respect people's time. They focus more on trying to be sociable rather than simply get straight to the point. If I type in something, say "how to do a pull-up, do you think I want to hear about your day, what kinds of music you like, your video editing sensibilities, and how charming you are, as well as all kinds of other irrelevant information? OR do you think I want to hear about how to do a friggin pull-up, like I typed!? I watch gardening videos too and this is a huge issue I have with these types of videos. All I want is the information. Simple. No editing required. No music necessary. No reason to discuss every related thought that the person has. But no. Everyone wants to be like a professional television program.
@@captain_orangehahaha. You wish. No excuse for your lack of abs other than you don’t put in work every single day for years, she earned those puppies. You don’t get to judge
As long as they are wearing regular gym clothes like the girl in the video and doing the exercises correctly I think it's a good thirst trap, nothing wrong with it.
Thank you Dr. Aaron. Outstanding teaching video! This is the first video of your series, and I'm now subscribed. As a 58yo, daily exercise program, but still have issues. I look forward to your further lessons of core health, not vanity.
Abs are made in the kitchen. It's tough to get them to show which is why they are so admirable during that period in your life when you're running the diet just right to show them off.
Her abs are so insane. Literally perfect. I love her videos (edit: since people goin off in the comments I’ll just say, the lighting and angle of this specific video is making her abs look waaay more boxy. I actually watch her videos and her abs look very real to me. They don’t usually look this intense, it’s prolly the pump too.)
I hate doing sit ups so most of ab work is standing, kneeling or plank based. This is my fave as it’s actually helped my back pain. Lower abs are getting there with it too!
I've done this at least 3 times at the gym with 10 and 15 pound kettlebells since this video has been released and this has made such a huge improvement in my posture and back pain over that short time! Thank you so much!!!!
I was chubby my whole life, until I started using KB in my 30's. I had a sixpack within six weeks. It was amazing. The soreness from KB is really intense though ....I literally cried the first time. Probably cause I went overboard, and thought I was Bruce Lee, and went TOO hard in the beginning without building up to it. Have you too experienced this KB soreness? And what did you use to combat it?
@@magvs_mæstro216were you working out previously before using KB’s? Not sure why they’d make you more sore opposed to other alternatives that’s interesting
@magvs_mæstro216 I have done this - trained hard af and couldn't move from that lactic acid build up in my muscles. Personally, I've done a combination of variations ... I learned that the more protein I took in the more rapidly my muscle builds back up (some vegan bodybuilders say protein isn't that relevant to putting on muscle - that's fine, I'm not debating that specific matter), I'm saying protein 'restores' the breakdown of the muscle and in that sense, that reparation takes down the lactic acid (more complicated than that, that'sa reduced or simplifiedexplanation). That lactic acid is what you're talking about, which causes severe ache and pain. (Remember the higher protein one takes in the more WATER needed to assimilate it!) Yerba Maté tea is condusive to reducing the effects of lactic acid in the body. Look that up and do some self-studying to confirm and understand that. Gentle, not vigorous stretching, will work out the lactic acid build up in the muscles. Obviously, vigorous stretching will cause more lactic acid! Again, GENTLE stretching. Using a myofascial release roller can be helpful. And very good rest, sleep, is critical to the repairing process. Which then helps 'speed up', if you will the breakdown of lactic acid. Again, that's a simplified explanation. But don't take my word for it, do a Google search, AI will bring up a summary, and it's very quick and simple nowadays to teach one's self. Hope that helps! Let there be peace ... ✌️ 🌼
I started doing this exercise in my core routine and WOW makes such a difference, not just with engagement in other workouts (e.g. squats and deadlifts) but in day to day life too!
I swear, there are so many useful exercises we can do. I wish I could devote time to all of the big lifts and then a ton of these more specific, accessory type movements.
And a lot of spinal flexion, which enforces bad motor patterns. Clearly it doesn’t seem like a big issue for her because she seems already highly conditioned
Keep at it. Another way to do this is to hold weights behind your neck on a decline bench. But flat with a little kettlebell is a good place for you to start
I love these people who show themselves “working out” and being so fit and in shape…. It’s so deceptive.. when I got my amazing body I didn’t lift a single weight. I went to work then back home to sit and play video games or work on music but I was never in the gym. Still got my amazing body. It’s called a diet. When you eat premium foods your body shows premium results… if that girl was honest as to how she got those abs she’s show one video of her food every day for a month or something… but no one wants to do a diet… lol
bullshit bro... you dont look like the second dude without working out. its literally impossible even if you are on copious amounts of steroids. the diet is great but you have to work out too.
@@wizardsyndicate5505 yes yes but what I’m saying is that if you followed their exact workout with the exact intensity you wouldn’t see even close to the same results because it’s all about their diet that makes their body look that good. That’s what I meant. I went to the gym for years to try to get muscle and look lean but I was just a fat person that was a little stronger…
@@HardxCorpsxKali well I thunk it's common knowledge that diet and training go hand in hand. But ti get to "amazing", I agree that most people don't want o do what it takes diet wise. Most of the time, I'm one if those people too lol. Also, when you get to be a certain age and you lose too much fat, you can look very old in the face. I have a very young looking face and I got my body fat to single digits for a short period and even at 34 with a very young face, I started looking very gaunt. Like unhealthy gaunt. But I wasn't doing anything crazy. Just not eating crap and I was working out every other day. I don't know how you maintained a strict diet while just chillin and playing video games. You must have some pretty good willpower. On a side note, looking at this chick's frame, I get the feeling that it would be easy for her to get pretty beephy when not working out
I always feel like I'm doing it wrong. I use a 20lb kettle bell and feel like I am doing something wrong because I seldom feel my abs/core really being worked/engaged. So I really just have to go heavier???
You probably aren't resting long enough in between. Wear yourself out with some planking or swimmers pushups from your knees first then try these, you'll feel it then. Then I rest a few days.
SquatUniversity is truly one of the GOATs. I forget who the RU-vidr is doing the kettlebell workout but from what I remember he has kettlebell only workouts and his RU-vid channel was really great also.
Danggg… I felt that to the heart… “ Remembers theres a difference between building abs that show and building abs that help you move in different motions”
Doing the kettlebell halo while kneeling is a game changer. After the second time doing this exercise, my back and hip muscles had come alive in a new way.
i think getting older many of us will struggle with back pain (especially since we sit down so much) and this is probably gonna help a lot with that! (will use this now bc i’ve had back pain since childhood yay)
Gonna have to try this out in a kneeling position. I've been doing this exercise for a while in the standing position with a 32 kg kettlebell and it just feels too easy. Kneeling may be the thing I have been missing.
