@@RandomTheories Chances of both engines going out is extremely low at least, and even in that case the plane from cruising altitude can glide for probably a 100km or more as well to an airfield. I wouldn't want to experience it and I don't think the knowledge would necessarily make me relaxed either as it would still be sketchy as all hell, but it's something.

What I am scared about is not a plane losing an engine, but losing a wing, I doubt a plane can control itself with just one wing. Although, I am also prety sure that losing a wing is incredibly rare, so I will continue going on planes.

@@Demi_Vivo Most cats have thumbs, although they tend to be smaller on female cats than males. I suspect this cat actually has _six_ digits (polydactyl), one of which is kind of "stuck" against the true thumb.

I was on two planes that lost engines. I'm still here! At that size, they have multiple engines, and can still fly without them all. In some occasions, they have been able to land with one remaining, and even none. Scary for sure, but if you ever experience that know that there are backup systems for most things that can go wrong on a plane that size.

Those "bags of water" out of glass are INCREDIBLE. I assume they cost more than I get in a year, but daaaaamn I'd love to have one. They are *so* beautiful, creative and cool. And I really liked that gravestone idea. It's a nice little extra touch, letting people know the story and not only the name of someone who's been loved, who still is loved and missed. It gives those stones a bit more meaning, when you see and TRULY realize that for every gravestone there are often many, many people who're missing the one underneath that stone you're looking at. It's a truly lovely idea. Letting your loved one live on in the memories of others in one more way could only ever be good.

Fun fact: Commercial Airline planes are designed to fly with as little as one of their engines working. If all engines are shut off or non-responsive, the plane is designed in a way to allow for a rather long glide downward back to Earth. The landing won’t be very fun, but you’ll survive!

Thanks for helping make it common knowledge that planes are designed to continue to fly safely if an engine explodes. My friend and his family were on a flight when that happened, they knew they were going to be fine, but everyone else on the plane had a full on chaotic episode. The flight attendants were the only ones enjoying themselves breaking into uncontrollable laughter at everyone's antics, though.

There is a cemetery at the church I go to, and my friend and I would walk through it and look at the gravestones. It is amazing how much you can learn about a family from what little information is there, but I have always wanted to know more about who they were. I am glad there are people out there trying to preserve the stories of lost ones.

Thanks for leaving this comment! My father co-owns the company that does this (Turning Hearts). He had a friend invite him to get involved with it, and it has since turned into a passion project for him! I scanned one he brought home to show me when he first told me about it, and it brought up a video of a crazy talented violinist playing How Great Thou Art. They had been dead for 30 years, but you could truly see a passionate side of who they were in that video. The countless hours that must have gone into practicing to make it sound that good. It was literally a window into a real piece of this person's life, and who they were. It was a surreal experience!

@@LanguishedBeing It was not a walrus. It was a South American Sea Lion (Otaria flavescens). Very common in Valdivia Chile, where that video was taken.

2:02 Unfortunately in a few years when the company inevitably gets shut down / acquired / etc these will mean nothing more than a dead link. Actually encoding more info would be more useful. And add less to the visitors' advertising profile. Which they are quite certainly selling. (The water bag was cool as an art pice, before someone says I'm just sour.)

Three years ago I had this idea, while walking through a graveyard, I was wondering who these people were, and I thought of creating QR codes to see the info about the deceased people. I told my friends about it and they laughed at me, now, here I am , seeing this happening on the channel of the daily dose of internet.While my girlfriend blames me of not being ambitiouos to have created myself. Oh well 😅

If there's one thing I've learned in life, whenever you have a great idea, 99% of people will laugh at you including most of those, if not ALL, that are close to you. Sadly, I've also been in your situation with inventions and trends that I put forward to my friends and family, looking for some confidence and support, and got none and then a few years later I've seen my ideas go global in someone else's hands because I didn't believe in myself. I have had this happen with 5 different things. I have promised myself that if or when next time this happens, I will not be asking or souding my idea to anyone, I will just trust and believe in my own self and do it. I hope next time you have a wonderful idea too, you can also believe in yourself, my friend ♥ I wish the best of luck to you!
