I heard it on the Stern show back in the 80’s. Howard was ranting about a fight he had with his first wife Allison and after 30 minutes he went silent for like 20 seconds and then he said Robin, whatever you do, don’t trust anything that bleeds for 7 days without dying! I was listening on my Walkman on a bus from Staten Island to Manhattan and I was laughing my ass off! Half the bus looked at me with disgust because they knew I was listening to the Stern show. The other half looked bummed because they knew they missed something hilarious from the Stern show.

I'm not sure what period it was but the first time I heard this was on the radio, We had the painters in and they turned it up every time this one came on. Dungarees were all the rage then and if I remember right "The Blob" was on at the cinema. Lots of screaming from the back seats and all the lads caught red handed when the lights went up. Good Times. Im not sure I think that he did an "unplugged" version more of a Jam session than anything else? Rare stuff thanks for the memories.
