Omg I just made this. My daughter & I are the only ones in the house who eat salmon. Had it with yellow rice & green beans and a glass of white wine. I didn't get to take pics for my insta...it was devoured so fast. Delicious!
You hit this one out of the ballpark, my brother, and I mean WAY out of the ballpark and down the street! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’ve made Chicken Piccata but never thought of Salmon Piccata……..thank you!
This looks Awesome! I am making it now for my husband. I'm not the greatest cook so.....showing me how to prepare these meals is EVERYTHING!!! Appreciate You
Yep, coming up on two years here in July, I'm taking a couple days off to celebrate. I pray for anyone struggling with addiction. Take care of yourselves!
I promised this was my last year doing takeout damn near everyday its killin my waistline and wallet. His recipes are A1. Ive made the steak bites the tuscan chicken the sweet potato casserole etc etc. Its so damn good cooking at home and saving money.
I'll be meal-prepping this today. It's so nice to see a savory, instead of sweet, Salmon recipe. I love honey and brown sugar based recipes but it's refreshing to see an alternative. Thanks, Matt.
OMG....I made this. It was absolutely AMAZING. I have never conquered salmon....steaks, chicken, burgers I have figured out, but salmon always came out dry, tasteless, or undercooked. Not this time. Now I did make a few changes. I didn't bathe it in butter (I have a heart stent). I cooked it longer in the pan to give more of a blackened coating to the fish (so it lasted less time in the oven). But I watched the temp to make sure I pulled it out of the oven at 130 degrees and set it aside covered while I worked on the sauce. Thank you! It was terrific. People, try this recipe. If you remotely like salmon you will love this!
HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥂 If you want to remove the salmon skin just pour very hot water over it. Gotta be tea kettle hot to work properly. Just grab it & pull it off(Japanese trick 😉).
I'm so glad I found your channel! This recipe looks wonderful. And I actually have all the ingredients right now so guess what I'm having for dinner?!! Thank you!!! 🤗🤗
Take it from an old fisherman, skin the thin belly meat and fold it up and over the thicker cut. Place a couple of tooth picks thru to hold it all together. No waste and more to enjoy.
Thank You Sir for your important tips in preparing the salmon as I’m only Learning recently about Fresh fish prepping/cooking & appreciate your wise advice. You are NOT Old, You Are Very Wise & Can Teach Us All A Thing Or Two About Many Things!! I Appreciate your Advice❣️ Cheers from Canada 🍁
Wow, it looks great, I never used a lot of butter, nor tried capers, but I’ve used wine. I’m going to try it your way with the sauce, I know my family will love it. Thanks for sharing!
Butter has sodium. Here is what I did Opt out the butter (butter has sodium) - Used corn or any cooking oil. Used No Sodium Vegetable broth. Taste superior. It's what I'm cooking every two weeks.
Happy New Year !! Started following you a while ago and have tried your take on several recipes so far. They are good, really good !!! You have earned my respect in the kitchen my friend . Best and respect to you Brother !! -- den in NH.
Yummy Yummy!😋😋 Salmon is my favourite fish. I cooked salmon & spaghetti mixed with Pesto (red chilli) for my dinner last night & a lovely glass of white wine.🍾🥂 Hmm Hmm Tasty!👌🏽
Happy New Year! This is right on time. The holidays were fun but I’m ready to ease up on the heavy meals. I can eat salmon everyday and never get tired.
👏🏽👏🏽 You are right chef... I don't know wot Gordon Ramsey was on about (i saw his videos sometime ago). I tried cooking Salmon the way Gordon suggests skin-side first but no good it just breaks up when i turn it over... I prefer frying the skin-side last!❤
Looks absolutely delicious but I'd personally would cut back on the butter. I think you have enough great flavors going on. I've never tried capers with salmon but I do love them. You did a great demo including the perfect sizzle on everything. Thank you!
