That ticking is your vapor purge valve, sitting right behind your headlight. That is normal, the ticking is nothing to worry about

Thanks for the info! We actually just got a CEL for the evap system purge flow. The code is P0441

Hey I’m not sure exactly how to reach you, but there’s a C43 out here in SoCal with like 370k miles in good shape, thought you might like it because of the high mileage theme with your E55.
