Comma.ai Openpilot is open source software built to improve upon the existing driver assistance in most new cars on the road today. Tesla Autopilot like functionality for your Toyota, Honda, and more.
Openpilot does not make my car fully self-driving; I am focusing on driving 100% of the time and ready to take over any time.

Excellent video! I got the comma two installed on my 20 civic sport a weeks ago and I’m loving it so far! The only feature I’m not able to use is the auto high beam assist. Did you able to use it or it’s a problem for all Honda vehicles?

Lol Toyota lane trace is terrible unless the road is straight with very light turns, adding Openpilot is like driving a totally different car! And it's available worldwide

Which hatchback is the most comma-compatible - 2017+ Civic Hatchback with Sensing or 2019+ Corolla Hatchback? Is openpilot 0.82 ACC better with Corolla while ALC is better with Civic? In terms of budget, buying a 2017 Civic Hatchback would be the best value, with the main limitation using the stock Sensing ACC and no ALC below 12 mph?

Both have Openpilot ALC, but Honda has limited steering toruqe and stock ACC. Overall for best Openpilot experience I would take 2019+ Corolla. Check: github.com/commaai/openpilot#supported-cars

Very impressive. I have a 2020 Honda Passport Elite and been thinking about buying the Comma 2 for the past year or so, but just couldn't decide, especially due to the torque limitation, but this new 8.2 firmware seems impressive with the turns. How much improvement do you think it is over the older version?

Hey, thanks . I've been driving with Openpilot only over a month and after 0.8.2 release I really felt the difference. Toruqe limit is same, but steering is more natural. For highway driving more than enough. The comma two will go up to $1099 once 0.8.3 is released, likely later this week (comma.ai tweet)

It is possible Comma 3 will be released soon as they are talking about going from 2d to 3d so I am guessing they will need more powerful hardware..
