It would be fun to see Mitsubishi put an EVO setup in one. It would be a sleeper for sure. The Outlander Evolution. Kind of catchy. How hard would it be for a dealer to trick them out like that for sale? I have the 2015 2.0 model and I average high 27's mid 28's for combined mileage and 33-34 on the highway.

Dont know why everyone hating on mits i love my rvr it worls great lots of room and visibility 4wd works awsome in the winter had an ecosport reted for a week and hated it couldn't wait to get my mitsubishi back

To be honest I quite like it! Especially with Octane Blue! It stands out from the other subcompact crossovers. I like that Mitsubishi vehicles offer a simple but yet tasteful interior that isn't filled up with a whole lot of technology! It has buttons! Not like Honda! Do I see a future for Mitsubishi? That's very hard to say considering their vehicles that they currently offer. The only other vehicle that I like is the Outlander PHEV. Mitsubishi needs to partner up with another car company to stay here in North America. Not to mention as well the fuel scam back in their homeland of Japan that went nearly for 25 years! Ouch!

I think we are going to get a 2016 Outlander Sport GT just like this one with Navigation and it has all the options and accessories. The color is Mercury Gray Pearl. I love my 2015 Mirage and these Outlander Sports are reliable as well right Dave?

what the hell is that?! It's called Mitsubishi ASX here in Russia. Outlander is a completely different vehicle, much bigger with a 3.0 v6 engine.

i live in New Zealand we have the asx which is this model in video. then we have the outlander which would be mid size suv. then we have the pajero sport which would be your average size suv then the pajero which would be the largest suv equivalent size to range rover discovery or toyota landcruiser in size

Never finished the demo. Always the most expensive model in every make. Like almost all the other demo guys, complain about CVT and yet never test the base models with manual trans, like Honda, Toyota, Canyon base model....

I'm in a band and throughout the last 4 years i've been able to fit my drummer's drumset and my half stack amp and 3 people all in it (including me in the 3 people) to go to out gigs! So it can fit alot in that small looking back!

I think when you do are giving specs of the car you could really raise the level of your reviews by telling us how it compaires to two well known rivals. IE. this car is rated at 32mpg which is about standard for the class. Or; this car has 200bhp which compares favorably with rivals X at 190 and Y at 170, but is slightly bettered by the class leader Z at 240bhp. Also your thoughts on how much you actually like the car are good too. I can read specs all day long but having two or three guys like you say that you really enjoy the steering feel etc gives me a much better idea of what the car is actually like. On the plus side I really like when you take SUVs to the park. Just some thoughts.

nice car- lol but why cant the great version or at least mid version come stick tho? maybe with a turbo too? anywho I drove this car on the highway for almost an hour, the steering is waaay to loose, and looking through the rear view is very tight. but other than that its a good fun car, wish the one I drove was stick tho, but tip-tronic was still(kinda) fun.

Mitsubishi use to build some exciting cars to drive, such as 3000GT, Eclipse GSX and GST, Galant VR4, Lancer, Lancer Evolution..........What happened to the brand?!?!? Now they build boring vehicles at lowest price point possible in each vehicle category and want to compete on price alone. Its sad to see the brand with so much potential make vehicle they make now. I would even go as far as saying KIA makes more fun to drive cars than Mitsubishi currently.

+lbrenes Hyundai and Kia have also done the same sadly. At least they didn't pull a terrible move like Volkswagen! My dad recently bought a 2015 ES Outlander Sport with the 2.0L, and we have been averaging 27-29 mpg in mixed driving after 12k+ miles. At least their cars don't seem to be terribly thirsty in my experience.

Im from New Zealand and looking at purchasing one of these vehicles in new Zealand we only have 2 engine choices 2 Litre fwd and 2.3 liter diesel 4wd (only Auto/Cvt ) i currently have an 02 Legacy h6 3 Litre . Basically would you recommend the vehicle? im looking at the diesel version for more power and a 6 speed auto not cvt.

Avoid the petrol model. The outlander sports or the ASX as we know it in NZ is actually a 7 year old car. Mistu have done nothing on the powertrain over the years apart from giving the 2.2L diesel an auto gear box ( they only had the manual with the diesel when we bought our petrol ASX back to 2010). I'd recommend you to get a CX-5 instead.
