Sorry to say, you are incorrect.All six shot heritage rough rider revolvers are calibrated to shoot both the LR and WMR cylinders. In fact, you will notice, that they shoot a bit better with the WMR cylinder. Now, having said that, a 6 shot and 9 shot are NOT compatible , but can be made to be so. That is probably what you have heard and are referring to.

Good video. I have one just like that but different grips, and like it so far. Seems to be a decent, cheap gun to have fun with or for a new shooter to learn with. While this would never be my first...or second choice for a self defense gun it could do in a pinch. Overall pretty decent for the money.
