+ALTHDSgaming since he got all the iron he need, he could also go for some minecart elevator. a bit tough to set up but easy to use but since it doesn't use any redstone, pistons and such, its even less laggy.

different foods give you different saturation levels. potatoes are pretty far down there on the list, but now that you have a carrot and a gold farm, you can make golden carrots which are the best.

I just want to chime in, since i've not commented before and say that I absolutely love this series. It's a great twist on the ol'skyblock formula, and the amount of work you've been putting into each step of the progression has been awesome to see. It's been informative and fun to watch, I've been learning things about Minecraft and it's forced me to think about the game in a way I wouldn't normally think about the game. Glad I subbed, keep up the good work. You'll hit 50k before you know it.

I think you should take the time to make a better piston translocation elevator. I know Mumbo made one where you have to hold down right click at each level, but using 1-tick pulses is much better than the burnout clocks I think. There's also a 2x2 design using that piston trick and a BUDed sticky piston with slimeblocks and redstone blocks made by Nerothe - I think it still works. Keep up the great vids.

FYI, unless it has changed in 1.9, which I'm fairly certain it hasn't, you can't die from poison. It will stop at 1/2 heart. That said, 1/2 heart isn't a fun place to be.

if you dont have full health your saturation is all going to your health so you have less saturation

first, that first bit was fun! also, loving the series, man! Keep up the great work! Steaks, man!!! You should make a nano-farm to get fast wheat and other food going with all the bones you must be collecting and then make a cow farm! on 1.9 food saturation is really important because it not only keeps you satiated for longer but also regenerate your health much faster, so a raw potato will give you very low regen abilities but a steak will give you probably the maximum for the cost/benefit, chicken cooker is of course a easier and automated way to get good protein, but steaks are the best food. Also xisuma has a decent piston translocation cow farm you can use to make a decent semi-auto cow/sheep/pig cooker. you may look into that. And the piston translocation elevator he uses in his guardian farm looks much smoother if a bit slower than what you done and dont give you any damage.

no, golden carrots are the best food for saturation, i really don't get why people keep suggesting steak as the best.... the saturation with golden carrots lasts way way longer.

the food bar has 2 parts food and saturation saturation is not visable but it determines how long before you have to eat again and new in 1.9 it uses saturation to heal you thus making you need to eat more often as you are always hurting yourself

+Zamuel Plank Plus various actions decrease the saturation bar faster. Every half a heart healed cost extra food, running, jumping and walking all cost food based on blocks moved. Higher rates for running than jumping and walking. Plus some food restore a lot of hunger, but less saturation. Golden carrots are the best hunger/saturation in the game of any item that stacks to 64 far as I know.

stop eating the potatoes and start eating steak. the steak leaves you full much longer than anything else. also, when you have any damage your hunger grows much faster, so try to keep your health full.

You need to eat food with better saturation, if you don't want to be eating all the time. I think steak has the best saturation. Maybe golden carrots...

Yeah definitely golden carrots. there are foods that fill the hunger bar more (4 honches instead of the 3 with golden carrots), but golden carrots have the best saturation in the game.

Small and medium slimes will spawn. However, the largest slimes will not. So it you're okay slightly lowered output then leave it as is! I made an entire 9 floor farm with a 2 high gap and then learned that it's more efficient with a 3 high gap. But hey, I still get plenty of slime balls, more than I'll ever use!

saturation goes down like crazy now when the player is not at full health. you'll all see that you heal much quicker at full health.

Congrats on the subs! Yeh, Mojang nerfed our food, too. They keep finding ways to make Minecraft not worth playing. One day, they'll succeed in making it so all you can do is punch trees, and break blocks, just like in beta, and I'll uninstall it, forever.

Love this challenge, making due with very few resources and the threat of the void is one of the few things that really challenges veteran players these days. I found it funny that paper ended up being one of the few things you just can't make without sugar cane. Bit surprised nothing drops it, nor can you craft it out of wood pulp.I found this series from looking up some of your builds and I love the quick and dirty approach. Not only are they usually more robust and continue to work when the game gets updated, but their resource friendly. Some people put way to much effort into the perfect 100% efficient machine, at the cost of so many resources and time it rarely worth it imo.As for your elevator issue I think you missed the simple boat/mine cart elevator method. All it takes is a boat/cart placed every 5 blocks and your at the top. Your swimming in iron so the mine cart method is fine, if you do go the boat route though I suggest making the last one floating on a 2x2 patch of water. It helps prevent it falling down or moving when you get in and out.

Food in 1.9... (my understanding, apologies if I get some of this wrong). Saturation (the food level you can't see over the food bar) is now used for much faster health regen... But if you take damage, it drains the saturation level much faster as well (to regen you faster). So the half heart fall damage or suffocation or whatever when you get "plinked" now seriously affects how fast you lose hunger. And a higher saturation food (steak > raw potatoes) will keep you topped off longer (as usual) but to get it to last like it used to, you also have to aovid taking the half hearts of damage here & there that are draining your saturation. At least, that's what I have been led to understand.

how to craft an enchanment table : 1.trade emeralds for bookshelf, then break the bookshelf and you will get books. 2.get obsidian, its easy, you know how to get it. 3.diamonds: search the nether for nether fotress and search for diamonds.

You can't do #1 until you've unlocked that trade. To unlock that trade is unfortunately impossible.

I would suggest golden carrots now that you have a carrot as well as your gold farm. golden carrots are the absolute best food in the game. it's all I use!

+SudsyMcGeePlays Also fyi the hold right click version where you press a button on every piston level with the translocator bug might work better if its dropping you off at random levels anyway. It seems to think you are falling when you are being translocated so fast to the top.

I really enjoy this series, just wish the episodes were a little longer, and more big builds like the beginning episodes, I learn a ton from these bigger builds, it just seems like the last couple episodes have been housekeeping.

Make sure you don't have more than a 2 high gap anywhere... or they'll spawn. Also you need to tell me where are they spawning

+Snocrash I'm 126 blocks above the nether and I'm using half slabs so the gap is 2.5 and I'm getting ghast, wither Skelton's and magma cubes
