Irony being that the goat would have taken a far more direct hit if the Bottercup hadn’t stalled. 😆 EDIT: “the goat MIGHT have taken a more direct hit” I’ve been made aware that Doc used a world backup to try and time it perfectly, however, the bots had independent start mechanisms. Therefore, it was still an estimate on Doc’s part since he couldn’t guarantee that the bots would be activated at the same time. Either way, I think we can agree that we got a pretty funny result, and that the alternative would have also been pretty funny.

The episode was pure chaos and I loved it

He built the machine, cleared their bases, fixed the machine under pressure, and blocked their advances. I'd say our hippy techie is moving up in the world!

pretty sure grian clogging the interior with planks did more damage than the couple of dirt blocks mumbo placed

@@ez_theta_z9317 flying machines don't work like that. the entire machine is centered around the middle, so messing with the wings would just detatch them/pull off chunks of the wing. maxing out the push limit for the center is what stopped it.

That’s a sick idea. He could also implement floating pillars or pylons around it that have a similar dark deco style that glow at night. The idea might clash with grian’s “entity” base theme a bit. Maybe it’s more like his base has its own little planet floating above it made of the rocks and earth from the hole beneath their bases and that’s what uncovered the rift and caused all the wackiness at grians base.

I was thinking about this more, the Buttercups are all about nature while Doc was the one who instigated the robot fight, and nature versus machine is a common theme in Sonic games

In Grian's video (Maybe Scar's, I don't know if he uploaded yet), they hold a board meeting after Mumbo's video ends to discuss future Buttercup Plans

He made hunger buttercup cookies to give to doc because they are poisonous to goats. So he made them give you hunger to simulate the poison

It is poisonous to people too, like blisters on your insides

I think everyone involved is very happy that he didn't think to use a spider eye to apply an ACTUAL poison effect.

And that would also be a good contrast to the dark palette and blue hues we have so far, *and* fit in with the white energy lines running down the base.

Yeah... but he's already at Y=281 and if I remember correctly, max build height is like Y=319 or something, which would only allow for a very small sun, which is really not that impressive. Although a large ball of plasma is definitely the best idea Mumbo could use over his base!

I think that's pretty nuch every hermitcraft war.

The red one has suffered significant damage (and Doc removed his butterfly wings Elytra texture to pay respects) but Mothra has only been stopped by blocks in its face, I wonder if Doc could just re-activate it and wreak some havoc at Grian's base *[EDIT* after having seen Grian's perspective] he managed to squish himself into Mothra and I think he broke some internal Slime Blocks. I'm not sure if it still can fly
