I love how you can so clearly tell these tracks meant something special to the composers. I'm hard pressed to think of another set of dynamic tracks that has so many variants depending on pretty nuanced circumstances, that are also all bangers. Dynamic music is definitely one of the strengths of this game.
Seeing Vegas light up is honestly my favorite part of the Horizon franchise so far. There was something melancholic and hopeful watching the city once again shine. The music was absolutely perfect.
This was one of my favourite parts of the map. The whole design and pacing with three enjoyable NPCs to interact with and then the big payoff when you free the Poseidon AI and witness the wonderful transformation. Topped off by an impressive new machine to fight. The music with it’s different moods just adds to the atmosphere as it does throughout the entire game. OMG, when it comes to making a sequel to a fantastic game the devs really nailed it :)
On top of all that, we got to see the beautiful, water-filled neon world Stanley Chen made of Las Vegas- and the merging of his musical theme with that of the Tideripper was perfect. Knowing Chen’s dreams for bringing clean water- and life, by extension- back to Vegas, it slowly begins to make perfect sense why Poseidon chose it as a shelter.
1:54-8:41 I love the deep love for Earth, its creatures, and faith in humanity’s highest aspirations that these games represent. The devotion to creating something magnificent and meaningful is absolutely awe-inspiring.
8:41 I can't tell you how much I love this piece. The gradual buildup of the music, then BOOM! The mechanical beast known as the Tideripper emrges from the depths, all that stands between our hero Aloy and the POSIEDEN subordinate function. God, this track is so epic, thank you for making this!
Some of the other locations may have been more more breathtaking, like the ruins of San Francisco, but I think Vegas is the most memorable and well-utilized part of the whole map.
This was the best sub function to go after. Vegas is cool enough as is but I’m a HUGE fan of the Blade Runner films. I was not disappointed to see Guerrilla’s interpretation of futuristic Vegas. The synths used in this particular song reminded me so much of BR 2049. As fantastic of a mission as this is on its own, going in with those added memories from my favorite film was an emotional experience to say the least.
This was probably the mission in the game! Thank you for uploading all these themes and could you maybe post the track that plays when talking to Kotallo at the Base?
I really enjoy how seamless the transition is between the first part of this song and Rusted Sands when entering combat and disengaging Thanks for this!
I can't decide which theme is better: Guardian of the Deep is amazing and especially how it gives Avatar: Way of the waters vibe. 🤩🤩🤩 But Rusted Sands + Claws in the Hollow is too good and especially 2:27. 😍😍😍
Huge thank you for uploading all these! I've seen people requesting so I may as well do the same- Any chance you could upload the new Eclipse music? It was some of my favourite from the original and I'd love to hear how it's been updated! From what I remember I think there's a stealth theme and a combat theme, not sure if anything else
@@HorizonThemes But it (1:54) sounds kinda different from the original Rusted Sands soundtrack. The original sounds more trumpet or flute like. Is it a different version? If so, can you upload it?
@@hgloow6683 I think that part is only from the battle theme version. I'll check when i next play this quest & see if there's another version i can get.
