Incredibly helpful and informative. Thank you, Drs. I feel that you are rare entities our (fairly broken) western medical system. You want to listen to your patients and hear the nuances of their history. That’s more than most people will ever get. It makes me truly grateful for RU-vid. I used to keep it to myself that I get a lot of health information on RU-vid, but not anymore. Your intelligence and willingness to share is so commendable, and it’s where a lot of people who want serious answers come when their own GPs insult their intelligence.

This makes so much sense! And yes indeed conflicts with what my own endo tells me. But how does one know how many calories are appropriate in a day?

Is it intermittent fasting or calorie deficits that are problematic. If fuel correctly in an 8 or 10 hour window, am I still driving up cortisol?

What if im just NOT hungry when i get up in the morning and for a while thereafter? I eat 2 meals per day and have been trying to increase my protein intake and weight bearing exercise. Should i force myself to fuel up and eat three meals per day?

The intermittent fasting wasn’t really expounded upon - are you suggesting fasting can raise cortisol levels and isn’t beneficial during perimenopause?
