HHS Secretary Becerra visits Washington, D.C. Pharmacy 

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra visited the Grubb’s Pharmacy team on Capitol Hill today. This was part of the agency's efforts to boost awareness that as of Jan. 1, Inflation Reduction Act policies make adult vaccines free in Medicare for seniors and cap beneficiaries’ monthly cost sharing for insulin products to no more than $35. Pharmacy owner Michael Kim also emphasized the need for reforming pharmacy benefit managers and how the middlemen make it difficult for pharmacies like his to serve seniors and other patients.
