Problem is, a lot of chicken, beef has been contaminated with bad bacteria. We had a recall of beef and chicken here in NY. I try to do all organic produce.
Thank you for letting me know! Can you give me more insight? Was it Salmonella? Someone told me that in Oregon that are trying to make it impossible to have a small farm or have pasture raise chickens.
@@GoSeeChristy Not sure what it was but end of last year NY recalled beef and chicken. This year it was pork. The NY state Attorney General is suing the meat supplier. I’ve tried to get grass fed or pasture raised chicken, impossible to get at Whole Foods. They have organic but tastes awful.
@@GoSeeChristy Sad to say, too much money for government to make from food manufacturers. So, FDA allows ingredients to be put in food that is banned in Europe.
Where I live, we have access to many grass fed and grass finished meat, pasture raised chickens and clean raised pigs but like you, I cannot handle that much meats. I am doing the ancestral diet and when I switched to that, I didn't even experience any menopausal symptoms and that was over 10 years ago! : )
