After recording this video I noticed that there were a lot of high peaks in the audio, making it sound a little distorted at some points throughout the video. I think I was sitting too close to my mic and thus it messed up the recording just a little bit. After recording the script for about an hour I really didn't feel like re-recording it, so I just decided to go with it. Hope it isn't too bad. Other than that, this is one of my favourite videos I have made this year, so I hope you enjoy. Have a great day

Rescue team 2, was most likely named that, because you are fighting other rescue teams, at the makuhita dojo

Yes it was clearly used to test that feature where Red Rescue Teams are fought there.

Hey, I can explain the slowdown. So in Red Rescue Team especially, each move has to calculate all moves made by all Pokémon on the floor. The game can slow down easily as well when playing dungeons anyway. Seeing as much of the footage of the dungeons has a bunch of enemies, it's likely just a lot of enemies out of your view. You can see this in the game's proper content too, as you can actually detect when new enemies appear as the turn they spawn has a split second of slowdown. Another thing that can help show it is using B to go through a corridor while being followed by several enemies and/or with a monster house active. Hope it helps!

25:45 This crash is caused by the scene trying to play an animation that Munchlax doesn't have. The same will happen for any pokemon that isn't normally a hero or partner.

Nice video. Didnt even noticed it was over half an hour long. Just some thing I have noticed: Playing as a munchlax probably only freezes cuz it doesnt have a nod animation (which you do to your parter before entering the cave). Also, its interesting that by playing with a mon which doesnt have the needed portrait for an action, the game will simply not display a portrait. I always wondered what would happen, I thought it would just display another mon's portrait instead or freeze, very interesting IMO. Also, no sight of the blue rescue team exclusive item "banana" on reds code aparently, huh?

My guess is that Alert Specs might have been a testing item. There are some abilities that stop items from being knocked off, so having that as a hold item might have been handy.

very late, but the 2 mailboxes are different in the debug room. the one on the left imitates the players mailbox, while the one on the right imitates the bulletin board outside the post office. they are NOT the same

I could have sworn Excavate & Wide Slash were just rare TMs, I remember them listed from 1 of the guidebooks. Beat Up Orb & Switch Box (not mentioned in the video) were the same way. I always thought it was weird that you never fought Team Meanies or Team ACT in the Makuhita Dojo, although it was cool to see that there was going to be a Final Maze at 1 point.

There actually is a way to evolve munchlax and get past that dungeon. You'd have to use Sky Editor to temporarily turn Munchlax into another pokemon, do the cutscene, then change it back. Sure, you'd have to download a program to do it, but it's the best i could think of

@@WordsOfWisdomForReal Sky Editor could be used to change the starter into a munchlax. Or you could just hack one that’s level 40 into a save file that has access to Luminous Cave, and then take it there

The unused Fantasy Strait tileset was actually used for the post game for a dungeon that shows after you clear the post game final boss iirc. I think it's the dungeon that's supposed to have a lot of Gummis since a really good friend you partially raised yourself recommends you go there? Atm I'm looking for Gummis there when I play anyway. But I'm sure there's a better place for them? In the Explorers series I mean. Didn't mean to confuse anyone.
