With a late season archery deer tag in hand and a week full of bad weather. We make our way into the wilderness to a remote camp that was packed in by my Uncle. Born 100 Years Too Late | @BrettVaughnB100
Great work 👍 Those Cowes bucks are tough to stalk but worth the effort Bitter cold with that wind so very wise decision to get off the ridge and down to lower country Good camera work and editing I could feel the cold with the windy conversation 🙏✝️
Great video, sometimes hunting goes that way. Either weather it is Mother Nature, bucks are not b convenient it’s called hunting. I have watched many Brett’s videos, tough country, I live in northern central Az mountains, I understand. Hopefully next time.-Kid Yuma
I watched your uncle's episode when he put up your tent...it was a trek for Agnus so I'm sure you guys had a good hike!! I Enjoy your channel. By the way, that's why its called hunting and not gettin...your right, Mother Nature got this one!
Question boys: when hunting from base camp, with plan to be back in the evening, why the huge back pack ? Yes you learn as you go, and get experience and advice. Your uncle Brett set you up good. Always plan for bad weather…glassing a large area is good to do….bow hunting is much tougher than with a rifle….pay attention to the wind and your own odor and sound….stay safe, good hunting ! 🤠👍
Good question. That’s something I know I gotta get better at. I definitely plan for the worst, and bring unnecessary stuff. I also carry most of my camera equipment myself, and it’s mostly bulky stuff that takes up space… I’m still learning the best way to backpack hunt like that and film it, especially weight and what to bring and to leave at camp. Thanks for the comment tho! Appreciate it.
That's hunting. Keep trying. Good luck guys. Was that card game in tent called Kings Corner? I remember playing hands of that with my grandparents lots of years ago? Rk.
