The chairs are sooo great! I can't wait to have everyone over for dinner now then we'll stay and chat. In my old wooden chairs, everyone would jump up as soon as they ate and go into the kitchen. Now we'll hang out around the table and enjoy time together. And they were such a great find on Amazon!

Chairs look nice. I'm currently waiting for 4 new dining room chairs from Pottery Barn. Brown leather that will go with dining room table. And my older sister will quit nagging me to get new chairs. Actually, we were shopping together last Christmas in the big (comparatively) of Greenville. But it does have a bunch of stores that Asheville doesn't have and it is just 50 miles away.

The wall hanging is called a wall trivet I believe. 🙂 Love the new chairs! And the rest of the décor is beautiful...simple and yet elegant. I also love that you're not afraid to place your knickknacks at a an angle. Some like to keep a square tray square but placing it on an angle can really bring interest to a grouping. You've got a great eye! 😃

Thanks! A wall trivet.....I never know what to call it...but I still love it after all these years. As the seasons change, I simply use different greenery on the wreath. It keeps it new and fresh.

LOL it was! I was just sitting in my office one day working...and looked into the dining room and thought...."I am so tired of this room". I turned around to my computer and got on Amazon. Found the chairs and the rugs....and BOOM....a makeover was underway!!

@@WELCOMETOMYCURLS I have found rug cleaning YT shorts, and I love them! I find them strangely calming. Maybe cuz a rug that is filthy gets love, attention and cleaning and they ALWAYS end up beautiful and looking like brand new.

After realizing that our dining room is unused for 99.5% of the year, I completely ditched the big dining room set and we now have a bistro/reading room with coffee bar and small seating areas. I don’t know why I didn’t do it years ago! Now we actually love to hang out there!😊

Love the makeover Renee, it all looks amazing. Thanks for stain cover recommendation have one I need to cover. A tip for you, to help your lovely cord chairs stay looking new buy a couple of cans of Scotch Guard. Take chairs outside in sun and spray them, leave to dry and bring in. With two small granddaughters my chairs still look like new. You are looking so well which is great to see, take care. ♥️🙏🏻 🇬🇧

I love how everything came out, just beautiful! I need new rugs and am going to seriously look into those when I get back from vacation. I would have ordered already, but delivery would come while we are away. And those rug grippers look so much easier to use than the under mats I have, those are a pain to get just right. Oh gosh....I hate a rug mat. They never work! These grippers are fantastic! You can even move the rug if you need to. Just stick them on and boom!

LOL Pollux chewed the corners off of 2 dining room chairs. And I just sold those chairs on FB Marketplace...the woman who bought them was just going to sand down the corners and repaint. I have removed his bed from the dining room for several reasons...and it's funny you ask this question...because I'm filming a video about it this week!! I am sooo ready to get the living room renovation started. We're still waiting on the contractor but hopefully he'll be here next week. He had a lot of things to order and is waiting on everything to arrive.

This carpet has survived so many dogs and cats and so many foster dogs! It really needs to be replaced, but as long as I enjoy the company of dogs and cats, I'll keep it. They're more important to me than new carpet.

The new chairs "class up" the dining room while still maintaining a welcoming comfortable vibe. I wish I had known about these chairs when I bought my 5-piece dining set a few months ago. The chairs I got are nice, but I didn't pay attention to the height measurement -- the chair seat is 20" off the ground (normal is 17-18") and my feet dangle when I sit in it! I have to find a furniture person to saw down the legs. Gaahhh...
