This lift is located in a non public 24 storey residential tower that was constructed in the 70s.
The tower features a set of three main lifts and one separate staff lift. The staff/service lift which is presented in this video is completely original, with some small minor mods. The other 3 main lifts have been modernized in the 2000s and can be seen partially in the background.
Originally all of these lifts where DC gearless with a top speed of 2,5m/s, however the machines of the three main lifts have been replaced with Otis 18 ATF geared machines. All of the lifts have their original flyball governors as well as cars and doors.
This lift accelerates very fast, which you don't get on modern lifts.
