Her introduction was amazing. I do wish that they'd at least tried to talk to the Lizardfolk before attacking since Nova speaks Draconic. Seemed like a wasted chance to avoid some violence there and maybe even gain more allies. I guess they were just in the mood for a fight?

@@toshomni9478 That would have been a bit foolish. Chances were very high that they would end up fighting anyway and they would have blown the element of surprise.

Their attempts to negotiate in the past haven't really gone so well, so I guess they're finally adapting to the lowlands.

Jiuoto was a fearless individual who thought nothing of risking her life, sometimes to a fault. Nova, while brave, is much more of an unlikely and reluctant hero. The two characters could hardly be more different.

@@ForrTheXP Neither of you are wrong! I just finished ep26 and it was definitely 7 days. Though looking at ressurection/reincarnate spells both are 10 day windows so that's probably where the change was from.

Mark is the mercer of Europe

Mark and his players have a nice middle ground between heavy roleplay and a group of friends playing a game together. I like it because it is both enjoyable to watch and accessible without being intimidating

Mercer is great but speaks just a bit too fast for me to the point that it feels rushed. Mark paces his speech and story telling so that I can picture what he's describing a lot better and the story/game flows better

Don't know about others but shes a half orc so skin color is probably green and height and overall build tall and muscular because, well, half-orcs

@@sebarus8108 But... the skin tone of half orcs depends on the world and can range from: a greyish brown, any regular human tone, deep greyish green, any grey, almost white, greyish turquoise, shades of green or yellowish green.... So I want to know because that's a HUGE range (wider than human!) of colours and I would rather it be accurate.... Really wish these D&D streams would give very clear concise physical descriptions!

@@valasafantastic1055 Kind of hard to provide all those details, and lots of artists will draw their own interpretation anyway. :P Orcs in Aerois generally have a dark tanned brown skin to a greenish hue (WoW orcs). Everything else is down to Rhiannon so suggest tweeting at her, she'd be happy to talk about it Im sure. :)

@@SherlockHulmes Thanks for the reply! I think the streaming DM's and players should be keeping in mind that the viewers and potential fanartists would like these kinds of details. Especially if a character does not have released "official art". I think I'll do a brownish green I'll go with yellow eyes. I may tweet her but I don't have my own twitter..... right now. As for the key descriptor details I suggest for any character not getting an "official release art" 1) general body build 2) skin colour 3) eye colour 4)hair colour 5)hair length, style and type 6)race 7)clothing general description 8)height 9) weapons and obvious gear at first glance. 10)any other distinctive markings. You actually provide this most of the time. The new tiefling eccentric inkeeper (who I may be doing a fan art of by the way) was fully described. It was very helpful just as a listener picturing it and as a potential fanartist. These kinds of details are necessary in books as well as podcast format media. Otherwise we are left with an uneasy and confused feeling. " what does she look like?" Everyone I've spoken to about this feels the same. A few have just been to shy to comment. No one minds if the player or DM takes a minute to describe this (at least that I've ever spoken to). Perhaps consider posting an official description somewhere of creatures and important NPC's? (and in this case a Players temporary character) then announcing where we can go to look these descriptions up this may double the fanart you receive as people are much more shy about making fanart for less fuly described things incase they get it "wrong". Even I am. Keep up the great content!

@@valasafantastic1055 The thing is it's Rhiannon's character. You can't expect mark to describe her character in that detail for her. It takes away her ownership of how she looks. that's why he told you to ask her. They don't need to go overboard to give you every detail either. Use your imagination, do what comes to your mind and don't fret over getting details "right". Just make something awesome and be proud of it.

In 5E at least, a Warlock's book of shadows Is not invisible at all, if you lose your book of shadows you can perform a 1-hour ceremony to receive a Replacement from your patron, this ceremony can be performed during a short or long rest, and it destroys the previous book, the book turns to ash when you die. It is also a magical relic specific to an individual Warlock, I would say anyone except the Warlock it belongs to can not even read it (I would rule it is dangerous for anyone except the Warlock to even try), the book is a kind of magical conduit so ripping a page out wouldn't alter the amount of magic and/or knowledge in the book

I just recalled Pruitt of WebDM mentioning that trait when talking about a GOO patron warlock, some of whose madness inducing spells would involve allowing their opponents to see their creepy af book.

@@AGrumpyPanda there are no real rules about what a book of shadows looks like besides it being a book, if you're DM let you it could be invisible (it is a cool concept) but the book being invisible could make it difficult to lose if nobody else can see it but since you can easily replace the book it isn't a big deal, I like the idea of the book being filled with potent pervasive knowledge and magic that either lashes out at anyone besides the warlock attempting to read it or the knowledge itself in the book is painfully overwhelming, a GOO pact of the tome Warlock casting dissonant whispers or psychic scream or similar spells could just be reading paragraphs from their book of shadows
