It might be worth giving Trott a few extra 'camera men' tokens to maintain vision in other areas or give him control of the other player tokens as well as the respective player so he can also see their vision. Edit: Also clearly the camera tokens need to be Smeek ghosts...

I gotta say I was so frustrated by this part. In a building constructed without modern tools an inch gap isn't at all improbable. Our house was built in 1923 and it definitely has some gaps we had to fill that were an inch or more.

For the record, Mark didn't misunderstand Gnoll/Cultist of Yeehongu rampage features. Rampage goes off when a unit reduces another to 0 HP if you use the Gnoll's bonus action to do so, only for the unit who does the reducing (who also has the Rampage ability). The Boon of Yeehongu ability Aura of Bloodthirst lets creatures with the Rampage ability make their Gnashing Jaws attack as a bonus action, even if the creature with Rampage doesn't reduce a creature to 0 HP. However, this doesn't let them take the extra move. Nothing that lets them ALL rampage.

I like how at the end Mark said that this was meant to be two encounters. I guess he means that the Hadar-touched was meant to be separate from the other gnolls, but now they’re about to get mashed together. Also, as cool as it is to see Sentry going toe-to-toe against a full force of gnolls, it really feels like a frontal assault would’ve been more effective than this infiltration plan. It’s their game and all, and don’t get me wrong I’m loving all of this, but this is starting to feel like Kallie’s Rest where they went for the boss without fully clearing the minions and paid the price for doing so. Basically I’m worried for the gang, but also excited

Dont split the party!! Mark designs encounters for a 5 man crew!! Splitting the party was bad, invisibility is a bad spell if it cant get the entire group!! Shouldnt have messed around with invisibility and just attacked the gate.

Technically he can change it into any elemental damage type, this includes acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison and thunder. And idk which one sounds worse :D

@@toshomni9478 peaking is when the volume of the sound going into a mic exceeds what the mic can handle. Basically, when you talk at a volume above a certain threshold into a mic, the audio gets distorted. The louder you talk, the more distorted it gets.

The sealed shut building impervious to Arcane Eye seemed a bit off to me. I mean yeah it makes sense but it has been attacked and taken over by gnolls. I don't think they would be able to keep this building in a tip top condition 5 minutes into the occupation let alone a couple of hours or even days.

I watched every side campaign of high rollers 4 times, lightfall 3 times, and aerois twice. It is genuinely impressive to me how bad they are at planning, the only plan that went well was the plan to turn the Gorgon in lightfall into stone using her own gaze. This planning phase went like this, we could sneak up and simultaneously fire spells inside the house, oh but we could find a bottleneck and attack them, oh I could distract them away. Alright let's start the plan. They literally don't discuss how they are going to execute their plan, they randomly list goals then start and it's always a shambles... Jesus I wonder how that rescue mission of Valor will go. Probably gonna forget to plan an escape route.

Yeah they are not that smart. Rule 1 never split the party, mark designs encounters with a full 5 man crew in mind. They shouldnt have messed around with invisibility considering it is 1 short of hitting everyone, the downside of running a campaign with FIVE people.

You know you could fix herald could be fixed at the place where sentry was brought back to life(that place in the storm)(episode 35 I think they went to the forge) You are even going to head that way anyways for quill's new weapon(I think hesper promised quill something was there for him...) and to get in the center anyways to fulfill the vision. Also can sentry shrink as well as grow?

It doesn't say you have to be conscious, but it says "you or a creature you can see" so if you're unconscious you can only affect your own rolls.

I'm trying to start a D&D campaign for me and my friends. None of them have played before and I've only played a couple sessions. I have also never DM'd before, but I have watched a lot of D&D streams/podcasts.
