I can see Lucius saying (about the tartan cloth) "Oh no. I can't wear this; it clashes with my outfit." and then goes and gets a completely new outfit that compliments the colors.

@@naughtydred8538 I appreciate the support. Other people were/are doing a better job and I didn't want to take away from what they were doing. And at this point I can't get it done in a timely manner.
Congrats to all these wonderful years! All the way from Lightfall, through the small adventures through jungles, far away evil empires, the best/worst heist ever, Spooky vampire land, all the holiday specials, and Aerois. To another 5 glorious years!!!
I like that they called out Matt. He wasn't around for a ton of HR but he was always great. [Edit] I still prefer Jester's sending adventures. If ever sending could be in the wrong hands.
5 more years!!! 5 more years!! Thank you all for the entertainment especially in my saddest of days. Thanks for making me laugh when I thought I couldn’t. Your all amazing, Love you all and thanks for 5 amazing years
Spoilers After all of this is over, I want to see Howard, Sentry and Petal co-owning a cafe, with Howard's coffee and food creations, Petal running the place and growing fresh ingredients, and Sentry popping in when she's not on Prime duty
Just an interesting/maybe not tid bit: the reason hrdnd players accept without questioning that the front doors of (whatever public building that was they couldn't enter) opened outwards, despite most private front doors opening inwards is because in the UK all public building front doors, actually all outside exits I think, must be able to open outwards. The interesting (read horrifying) part for me is that the reason for this law is quite literally because in an emergency people panic andl trample others to death to save themselves. Like how fucked is it that we need a law for how doors open so that we don't kill each other in an emergency.
(Slight Spoilers for our favourite space Captain, also Trigger Warning) Eyyyy Thalia is apologizing for forcing herself on Nova while drunk. Character development is great. Hopefully their relationship keeps getting better
The only kind if person that would be triggered would be someone who is triggered by a person apologizing for a mistake. That kind of person doesnt need the time of day so you are all good.
@@Blasted2Oblivion That trigger warning is for the "forcing herself on Nova" that allsuion to that form of assault could be very triggering to it's victems
Now if only the both of them would just talk, because Thalia is under the impression she's fucked everything up forever and Nova is under the impression that Thalia doesn't like her anymore, neither of which is quite true. Just talk, ffs! :'D
@@jamesmaceaveli6679 Still, I don't think many people even in the sky cities would get the reference (with space being taboo and all). Hopefully we'll find out why she chose to name herself after sometime their planet doesn't have. You'd think with her being the self-titled champion of Siaska she'd go with a name that references the goddess. 🤔
Aerois has many descendants of space-faring civilisations that were stranded on it after the war. I'm sure they would share stories about astral space, so it's not unlikely that some people on Aerois may know what's a moon. It's an exotic name for sure, but she couldn't really name herself Starstar, could she? :)
Oh man you guys are awesome. I felt so bad for Thalia, she broke my heart. Also I'm starting a campaign with my family (you guys have given me the courage to try being the GM) and I'm looking forward to introducing them to a different way of playing. Traditionally we only did dungeon crawls and it got boring over time. I'm also hoping to introduce Crownrend if I can squeeze him in :P
So initially I was gonna comment this - 'Actually crying with laughter at 2am over this sponsor bit. rhi as the audience, trott's face. i can't.' But then man what an ep! I couldn't cope with Kim's expressions during the whole Thalia stuff, i love it. And all the 5 year reminisces just made me so happy and even fonder of this lot. I've only been watching for a few months but I love them so much and can't wait to see what is to come.
Birdfrens and Novalia! Truly fun to watch and see how things go along, everyone should go get some lunch together, talk about stuff, maybe get the two awkward ones a separate table, who knows? I hold Lucius in high regard for throwing himself under the bus to protect a secret, but dude, too much info, which IS the perfect cover, but still. Also new continent unlocked! Probably not much exploration going to happen here now since time is of the essence, but it do be cool.
Such a great birthday episode, and the 100th just around the corner too. All those great moments, but for me the idea of Lucius contemplating a tartan suit made me splutter my coffee. Had this image of Rod Stewart in the 70s, but with better hair.
Someone might of already asked this and I could be wrong but didn’t one of the wolf pack die? So surely there’s now only 9 members of the Wolfpack. I think it happened when the airship exploded awhile back ?
@@deltoriannephran1286 aha so it wasn't a fever dream! Im glad I wasnt the only one! I'm sure the extra armour and weapons could go to lanceon or penny?
@@samharris4654 I believe they mentioned this briefly in the last episode actually, Mark said Kamara hired another Beastwalker I think. I'm pretty sure he said something about there being 10 of the Wolfpack at all times.
First, happy anniversary! Been watching from the start! Second, is there some way you can boost the audio on these? I usually leave RU-vid at 60% on any other video (on PC), but these have seemingly gotten quieter and quieter the last several weeks. I cranked this one up to 100% (YT volume) and that's still not enough, especially when some of you whisper things or speak very quietly, meaning I also have to turn up my speakers.
EDIT: spoilers, what are you doing scrolling down first anyway!!! WOW Aila giving out the replica tartan totally hit me in a way I didn't expect, damn that was awesome
I've had players fuck off and play video games while we're in a D&D session so many times, it's so disheartening and makes me lose all motivation. Best thing to do is sit them down and have a talk about whether they're actually interested in playing the game or just want to hang out with people.
Better still, ask them what type of game they're interested in playing. Maybe they would enjoy a more action-packed game with lots of combat and dice rolling, or the opposite - maybe there's not enough roleplay to engage them. Every group and every player is different, so communication here is key to everyone having fun. Also, you might try encouraging some of the players to try their hand at GMing. In my group, we're playing 3 campaigns (in various systems) simultaneously, every one of them GM'd by another player, soon to be joined by a 4th campaign as another player wants to try GMing. It really gives the players perspective on how much work it actually takes to run a game, and gives the original GM some chance to play and not be burned out.
I've definitely wanted to run D&D due to shows like High Rollers, Critical Role and Aquisitions Inc. Currently running "Rime of the Frostmaiden" via Roll20 and I might just steal some of the ideas you guys used in your one-shot of it should my players get that far. Aside from that I have been *thinking* about creating my own setting, but keep scrapping it because I don't know that much about worldbuilding. >.> Keep up the good work, you guys. Looking forward to the next one.
Hi I know this is 10 months later and you probably have figured it out. But the advice I have for worldbuilding is to make a map, put some town names in it, go through each of them and give each of them 5 bullet points of general notes of resources, weather, races etc. Then you start your players in a town, this town you prep a lot, and when your players move to the other town on your map then you can expand on those when they get there.
Mark was really nice how he handled the shoving the crate incident. My DM would have been like : G1: What was that hey G2 wake up the crate just fell over. G2: Probably rats or G3 ran into it. Hey G3 did you knock over that crate? Hello G3?? G1: He was here just a minute ago this is really suspicious , let's raise the alarm. G2: yeah better save than sorry.
Just a heads up, the podcast has gone wonky. The episode marked 97 is actually a repeat of 95, and the episode marked 98 is a repeat of 96. The latest two episodes aren't on the podcast site.
