After 33 years as a medic / Firefighter. The large number of folks walking around with stupidity in public never fails to impress me. They have NO respect , NO courtesy, everything is about them.
yea I was in a driver school called Five-O driving school its not a school they just teach you how to drive and the rules of the road most of the are retired law enforcement and some of the stories they told me of officers getting so hurt they had to drag a couple CHP guys out of the road no wonder why he look at his driver side mirror before getting out I can't imagine how crazy it is but after seeing him check his mirror every time before getting out i ended up doing the same thing later on when I ended up getting my car it must of tripped me out a lot more then I though it did
After over 25 years of working as a bartender and waiter, I absolutely agree with you. I'm sitting here screaming at the jerks that hit their brakes or don't move over or pay attention anymore at all while they're driving. After having 4 cars of mine totaled by idiots that weren't paying attention, I no longer drive at all. Public transport for this woman. I'm stunned by the risks these guys have to face with the Mad Max mentality - and I'm constantly amazed by what police, medics, and firefighters do.
I worked in a Level II Trauma Hospital. This was the worst “seizure” acting I’ve seen. I’m so glad all the LEO’s are ok. This could’ve been so much worse. 💙💙 Thank you, LT!!
Two awards given in this scene. The pursuit driver for the best "Fake A$$ Siezure Award" and the "Drunk Dumb A$$ Award " for other driver. I mean really?!?!
Was that imbecile really crying about his car? I swear I heard him saying whilst laying on the ground “F my Car!” Of course he’s not concerned about the officers he hit. Asking if everyone is okay.🙄
The cop parked a car with NO LIGHTS ON in the middle of the road at night and then they are mystified as to how the car got hit. These cops are ass clowns.
So sorry you guys got penned by the cars hope you are better with your legs .There are a lot of people that need to have a driver's test ever year .Most of these idiots don't even know the rules of the road . God be with all law inforcement and keep you safe . You guys are awsome .
It never ceases to amaze me how many inattentive drivers there are. How in the world do you miss that many flashing lights?!?!?!?! Thank you officers for your service. Stay safe! Mad respect for y’all!
@@savemars4383Apparently everyone missed the most important part of the collision... Dark vehicle, furthest lane into the highway, blinding lights obscuring it. Driver should have been well over but the officer of that vehicle royally screwed up.
He needed about 3 good doses of that taser to realign his shockra! It's awfully suspicious how he was absolutely fine until the very instant that they put hands on him. And to be able to spell his name and answer questions in the middle of a "seizure". Yeah, OK! I've NEVER seem anyone else that was that capable during, or even immediately after after one. But hey, that's just MY take on it.
I really respect how collected they all are after something like that. "You good? Yes or no? Or are you just adrenalined?" "I don't know." To be aware enough, that you don't know how you are, but still be able to function. And the first officer, to remember his training, and remember what can happen. "Are you just adrenalined?" You aren't going to know for sure right away. That is amazing. I hope they all recovered well from that.
It may not even be training. We are very much aware of that in motocross as I am sure many other extreme sports people are. You can get pretty badly busted and not know for about 10 minutes. Zero pain, possible complete function, and be generally unaware what is waiting to show up in just a few minutes.
Seemed like it was also exacerbated by the searching of his vehicle. I thought for sure that officer was gonna slap the shit outta that dude to get him to snap out of it but apparently it was just a bug. 😂
28:30 Cop who got hit to suspect "Oh you got to pee....I'd like to know what the f*ck you were thinking...do yourself a favor and shut the f*ck up." I love that guy.
I was working a rollover on i90 in Illinois as a firefighter doing extrication. State police had the highway shut down due to the type of incident (attempted suicide by driving wrong way into a semi) anyway i was down on my belly talking to the guy in the car trying to keep him awake when there was suddenly this roar and a pain in my left foot. Some drunk guy had driven thru the grass at the off ramp where state was directing people off and ran over my damn foot. They caught him but i had three metatarsals broken into multiple pieces. Im lucky he didn't run over my whole body. I never got down on the ground at a scene again after that. Yeah i shouldn't have been down like that in the first place im sure someone is going to throw their expert opinion at me, but when the highway is closed and theres a fire truck cocked at an angle protecting the scene you kinda feel safe. Nope.
Hoping your healing & rehab go well and you're back on the job soon. I was injured at work having put 4 fractures in my calcaneus bone. Took 8 months, after being diagnosed with CRPS, before I could return. I wish you a speedy recovery and safe shifts in the future.
I was 'accidentally' pushed backwards and wound up with a fractured tail bone. Saw the orthopedist, had the tests, bought the funny pillow that my cats love to take over. I thought that all was well and healing was proceeding apace but nooooooppppee!! At the most recent appointment he informed us (my sister drove me and I am glad she did so I had a witness) that my healing was not going as well as he and his department head had hoped for. That sometimes they don't heal. At all. Well, that's just grand. Not.
You do what you need to do to make it home alive and safe. You get jacked up where you can't return to your job and out forever on disability is not worth the risk. Had a drunk guy literally drive through a house doing over 100 mph and finally stop by trees in the back yard. The house was 120 ft from the road which had a curve in it. Lucky he missed the two adults and three kids in the house at the time. The drunk guy didn't have a scratch on him and so drunk he couldn't walk. He was driving with a suspended license due to his 2nd DUI, no insurance, expired tags, had warrants.
I feel ya. I was treating a patient in the grassy median of an interstate in NJ and the NJSP a-hole pushed the wrecked vehicle from the rear with his car to try to open the road faster. The wheels were turned and it came right for me, my partner, and the patient. We had to literally tuck and roll and drag the patient to avoid getting run over. Three of us (my partner, my Captain, and me) almost got arrested for going after that cop.
@@Mobus_ I think he swallowed some of the "Evidence" He's lucky he didn't die. I'm not 100% sure but I think that was a real seizure. He was definitely tripping.
@@Mobus_ He was a poor actor, cops have to err on the side of caution because everyone is all too happy to sue the police for every little thing now days.
Well Bryston Robinson, you weren't that worried about your 'heart condition' speeding recklessly away from police officers. You probably qualify for an oscar, More importantly, I am very glad that the police officers were not seriously injured, how do they keep turning out to deal with idiots like this.
Probably did notice and was blinded by all the lights. The police car he hit was in a traffic lane WITHOUT lights on. Still stupid for not slowing down and pulling over...
that’s the problem those fast flash patterns cause a distraction, that’s why whelen came out with their core system to sync and slow patterns when stopped
@@rizdalegend Funny how none of the other drivers on that busy highway had a problem seeing the car and managed to not hit it. And there were plenty of other lights lighting it up…it was not in darkness.
Very glad the officers were not seriously injured, this could have been much worse. Hope to see the outcome of all this. Thank you, officers for all you do.
That's unbelievable: as a result of that clown's "vaudeville performance" he nearly cost a couple of officers their lives. I hope the injured policemen are well and recovering. Despite everything they did a good job.
The dude from The Green Mile is going to win the Academy award for that piece of acting. Just f*cking around with Coolio and not getting out of the road caused that accident.
I am so greatful that every single officer/deputy/Trooper involved made it out alive with minor injuries. I am also glad that they got up and continued doing their job when they should have gotten checked out by medical. God Bless our Troops.
And when the officers walked away from him to check on the officers injured from the dumbass who crashed into them....he started yelling....he didn't like the attention being taken off of him, and one of the officers told him to be quiet because they had to handle the situation that just occurred. I take anxiety medicine when needed and it wasn't prescribed for seizures. 🙄 I also have heart problems and take HEART medication for it. He needs to learn how to fake a seizure better if he wants it to be believable. .....smh I bet his "woman" can attest to whether he has seizures or not. At any rate enough about that clown. I'm glad the officers were not seriously injured from the crash....i'm sure they had huge bruises and were very sore the next few days afterwards. It's incredible it wasn't way worse .....and thankfully.... because that could have been fatal for them all. Whew....🙏🙏🙏 Thank you for sharing the video with us! Stay safe out there LEO's!! Thank you for your service. 💙🇺🇸💙
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I c-c-c-c-c-c-can't b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-breathe! Hmmm! I haven't seen that trick before. Well-played, my man! But you're still going to p-p-p-p-p-prison!
First off, I'm thankful all of the officers were not seriously injured. The chase suspect went from hyperventilating to regular breathing at will. His "uncontrollable shaking" (aka fake seizure) was his way of deflecting the officer's attention off of the fact that the car was stolen. The second moron who said, "I had the cruise on," was just not driving period. He was letting the cruise get him home. I was married to a drunk. They all think if they set the cruise, they won't get caught.
Between Forest Fires I drove wrecker for many years and I find that Drunks are like Moths to a Flame when it comes to emergency lights, I had one hit my rollback like a launch ramp, a good rule when stopping on any busy roadway is to pull off as far as possible off the pavement and if you have to block the roadway then shut it down.
What a fustercluck! I thought the car thief was having a panic attack once the six officers approached and cuffed him, but he just got more ridiculous as time passed. Then the DUI fella created an absolute mess and those poor officers!! Angels were watching over them! Mercy goodness!!
You'd think the fustercluckers would pay attention to some officer safety when parking in the interstate lanes at night. I mean, you got a dozen officers and nobody is watching or slowing the traffic? Give them boys some participation medals.
This is why I say it's not worth chasing people over stupid petty shit, this is kinda the stupid shit that happens. Look at all the cops standing around doin nothing , all them lights flashing can be blinding people and hard to tell where to go. Glad nobody got hurt, the one cop that's all upset, he's not the guy I want covering my back, he's in panick mode and it's not even a fire fight.
@@superdavessubiandmore823 You must not have read the arrest report (I am being kind right now). He stole someone's car and wouldn't stop when the officer tried to pull him over. Should we just throw our hands in the air if criminals run away? What should the limit be? Only pursue if you happen to catch them laying down outside taking a nap? I bet you wouldn't think this way if it was your brand new 2023 Volkswagen SUV.
Real talk guys, never trust someone who's been in an accident to assess themselves. ALWAYS check them yourself, and pay special attention to anything that may indicate injury, like covering or shielding part of their body, or a limp. Mention anything you see to them. Once the adrenaline is flowing your perception of pain is almost nonexistent, so they may not even notice until someone points it out to them.
Whoever was in charge needed to order the three officers impacted by car to get full primary and secondary assessments immediately, not runnig around the accident scene. You are correct, self assessment when you are amped on adrenaline. You can hear in the one officer's voice how hyped up he is.
Guarantee they all HURT the next day. It's always worst the day after a car accident. The officer that was doing most of the talking was starting to limp at the very end of the video .
That was a freaking nightmare. Amazing that Brison dude was all but healed from his affliction during all that. I’m so thankful All Officers are alive and going home. Stay safe. Prayers for all LEO’s.
I had a heart attack and I just walked to my recliner and called 911. Chest pain that I thought was heart burn but it didn't let up when I ate several tums.
Also seizures and people do not act like this. I guess act is the operative word. Still, officers have to use caution because of the public payday grift.
God Bless each and every officer involved with this incident. Thank you for the service, dedication, and sacrifice that everyone of you, and your families have to go thru to provide safety to your communities.May you all have support and protection that you need to walk the path you have chosen. 💙🇺🇸
I agree with the laws need changing for these crimes. Too many times the charges get thrown out or the DA doesn't even bring up charges. These men and women officers risk their lives so runners can make endanger the innocent
Oh my GOSH!! WOW! That was awful!! Then that guy has to draw more attention to himself after that accident. It’s a good thing I’m not a cop because I would have yelled at him to KNOCK IT OFF.
Funny how the criminal was just fine while he was speeding at speed > 100 mph. Only after being caught does he have a “heart problem’. Obey law and you will not ever have a problem with law enforcement. God bless all who are involved with law enforcement!
He sure held that fake seizure for a long time. Having a history of seizures I can tell you it’s real hard to move with purpose that close to a seizure. The muscles HURT. And most people can’t answer questions that fast.
Because they were blinded by the lights. They're too bright at night time. I have been driving a truck. for 30 plus years and the lights has really got bad over the years.
@@golfer963 I've never heard that one before. The blue lights are now LED and brighter than ever, I don't see how anyone could run into the bright lights, I would think people would steer away from them and not at them. Regardless, people should slow down enough to the pointe that they cab negotiate the scene without slamming into other cars.
I think the saddest thing is that my first reaction to the gentleman's seizure was, "He's faking it." His "insanity " even worse acting. Everyone who's ever cried wolf in this type of situation has dull people's reactions to real mental and physical emergencies.
I guess the driver that hit the police car might be able to claim that he was "Blinded by the light". Glad that everyone was ok and no serious injuries.
@@CptZiltoid The control box for the overhead lights is mounted in the Trunk area of the Police explorers... It was probobly taken out when it was hit. His headlights were on for sure... so your point of "zero lights" is null and void. but the way that suv was buckled... I am sure that cables for the lightbar were severed at the time of impact. The officer placed his car "50 yards back" as a blocker... I am sure he at least had his rear facing flashing lights activated... As Most Lightbars can be programed to have just the rear facing lights to flash when on DUI stops to avoid confusion to the suspect when giving a Field sobriety test...
@@1jzMKIII You can use this cool feature called "pause" I know this is a lot to take in at once but give it a try. You can easily see that zero lights were activated before impact, zero fronts, backs or emergency lights. Now run along boomer. 🤡 🤣
I just wish we had a "justice" system that actually prosecuted criminals! But I'm sure both those criminals will get patted on the pootpoot and told to have a lovely day.
Basic officer safety when working a scene on an active roadway: never stand between cars like that. I thought they taught that at the academy? It's not just these officers either, I see officers standing between vehicles all the time on our roads here. I know that can be hard to avoid in a lot of traffic stops, but it's a safety practice that needs reminding frequently--it's easy to get lulled into complacency. I hope all these officers are okay, and that they threw the book at the car thief/seizure actor and the blind/drunk dude.
its so sweet to me that the first instinct after being okay'd by medical is to call your wife and tell her 1) you'll be home late and 2) everyone's alright
Glory be to God. Everytime you officers go through this my heart is pounding!! I can only imagine your adrenaline!! My father's best friend his name was Robert Gawe Connecticut State Police he had his K9 Seth that was the true hero he jumped out a 3 story building after a suspect and caught him. Both officers were given high standard marks.
For all those people who accuse slow traffic of "rubbernecking", this is why you slow way down when there are first responders or police tending to a situation!
DAAAAAAAAAAMN!!! My man needs an award for Best actor......especially when it's your heart making you convulsed which is weird cause it almost looks like a fake seizure!
I’m so glad he could call his girl! We didn’t have that option over seas when I went… it’s part of the job……my family and kids didn’t know till 10 months later, what had happened! Wish mine knew the same night…
HOLY SHIT!!😳😳 Man, that could have been SO much worse. LEOs stopped in traffic lanes is ALWAYS so risky and dangerous, but a necessary part of the job. Flashing lights and flares can only do so much.
