It *was* Common Knowledge to pull over to the right for Emergency vehicles but, unfortunately, Common Knowledge, Common Decency, Common Courtesy and Common Sense are not Common anymore.
A lot of them never look in the rear view mirror and the radio is so loud they can't hear the siren, It's a total surprise to them when the police, fire truck or EMS pass them. No situational awareness at all.
Speeding cops do appear at your bumper at the blink of an eye and most people are scared to jump to the right in fear of the cop might all of a sudden jump to the right. You can't teach people in driving school to be cautious when switching lanes but not be cautious when a cop appears.
ARKANSAS DONT FOOL AROUND. Every video I've seen from there these cops just take care of business. They are good drivers too. I'm glad I found this channel.
Yeah, there were two dogs that made it out (or were thrown out) of that car. I hope they’re okay. Too bad they got stuck with a total POS that had zero problem putting their lives in danger.

@@angelatkeller - the poor wee dog was flung out of the window - you can see it in front of the second car lying stunned on the grass verge then it leaps up and takes off like a rocket - i dont think it will want back in a car any day soon - the poor wee thing - i hope it is ok as well
@@vernareed2692 I think that was a debris from the car because it rolled a couple yards before it falls to a stops, if it was a dog I think it just drop and slide a bit not rolled like a tire like that from the dog's body shape imo. 🤔

+1 for that first PIT at 3:10 being really bad. Poor timing and execution given the location and traffic conditions plus the support units didn't box the HHR tightly enough when it first stopped at 4:55 allowing the escape and continuation of the chase. They were really lucky the perp overcooked it at the fwy on-ramp or it could have been an even bigger cluster. Bush league stuff for a dept that trains for this kind of thing all the time.

That PIT maneuver was extremely dangerous on a blind hill, if that vehicle had collided with another vehicle do to the loss of control created by the PIT maneuver, there would've been a lawsuit...

@@arkansaspoliceactivity I watch a few well known 🌪 chasers and weather watchers. I am thinking this is just the start of an active season. Hopefully they stay out in the fields and not towns. Too many already affected across the US this year. In Florida we get to watch as hurricanes slowly creep in and hits nowhere near where they are forecasted to. I’m just happy to hear from some of the team so far. As always watching your six out there. ❤️🇺🇸💙

I agree, that officer should be suspended and have their allowances for pit maneuver revoked at minimum. That showed no consideration for the safety of innocents.
for the chase at around 14 mins in, I lost my best friend in a car accident where both him and his dog were ejected from and then crushed by the vehicle. I really hope no dogs were injured or killed due to this wreck.

flying color honors to the Arkansas State Police, some of the best driving anywhere, they never let up, always get their man (or woman) they end this crap as fast as is possible so that others won't get hurt. The best to you guys, from us up here in Minnesota.

3:08 that trooper chose the worst moment for a pit. He could not see upcoming traffic so he put other drivers in serious danger. Next, he could have easily prevented the car from driving off again by placing his car *_in front_* of the perp's car and *_blocking_* it. I rarely claim I could have done something better than someone else but in this case I do. I hope the trooper learned from these mistakes because that was some sloppy police work.

As a former paramedic and later a flight nurse it is drilled into your head to "maintain C-spine" hold head, c-collar but I just love how these AR police just grab and go.

@3:12, that PIT maneuver almost made that car crash into the cars on the opposite side, good thing that drive swerved out of the way quickly. Not a place to do a pit maneuver on a busy street, especially when there’s a hill and you can’t see the oncoming traffic. And they were very lucky to not crash into anyone else when they lost control flying down towards the highway, that truck barely missed them. I’m just glad no one else was hurt or worse.
not sure what is going on here but this is the consequence of fleeing away from the Officers, it would of been ok had they stopped we all know this. Stupid stupid dangerous actions
