You know, I just saw this Clarkson chap and I think I agree. Don’t know what the BBC was thinking about by not booking him for greater things, they’d be fools not to. Otherwise some big online company could snap him up..... I think he’s going places!
Agreed, it's his lightning-fast deadpan delivery that does it. I've seen this episode a few times now, and still basically wet myself every time at both the line and Clarkson's reaction.

I threw away my plate of bile for Clarkson. it was stinking up my viewing time. instead I'll comment on the Goodness in the Video, the Light of Laughter and the Appreciation I have for Bowman Hath bringing us the Best in Youtey Viewing.

British studio audiences laugh at *everything*. Literally. Watch 8/10 does countdown some time. But the point is that was funny because of the joke caption about health & safety.
I started watching Brit telly (these old recorded shows) after Trump was elected: the US "comics" are simply not funny anymore - primary school level jokes spewing hatred toward Trump. The Brits are left biased sure, but nobody is taking it that seriously... well, we'll see, now Bumble Trump is PM of the UK
the very definition of anxiety meds out of balance. the words, ''nothing is funny' says you have problems with your meds, get help, so you can rejoin the group and enjoy the jokes once again.
